it was trippy when that baloon popped just as some guy touched it, cuz one of the lasers was just moving through that spot
great night, great music, but i agree that the sound was way too loud in the main room. the second room has the best acoustics and sounded awesome until around 5 or 6 when it just seemed really muddy |

A&B... i dont care how good of djs they were.. they were way past soft.. and I totally booked it to the breaks room till they finished...
Some greeat beats from some of the other djs, too many to name names.. just they were all pretty fab... anyone who dropped heavy hardstyle and electro beats my heart goes to you man.. i was totally into it no matter where it was... some guy got stabbed right in front of us tho.. totally uncool.. but dint really phase us... i was sober for a good portion of the night and i still had fun.. me and my friends were tripped out of our heads at interchanging intervals making shit intresting... the set up was okay, better then NYE, but dooms still takes the cake... there wernt any go go dancers... but at least the lazers were working again (Well smoke machines) But yeah the music was too loud in the main room, not so much the volume, but teh treble was high.. like a spear into your ears.. it probably should have been a few dbs lower for everyones sake... if we wernt all half deaf by the end of the night they wouldnt need louder music... Overall tho id say it was pretty good, however im not as compulsed to go to raves anymore but ill be at insomnia and apex... PS please shoot all meth chemists, luckily for me i had some pure MDMA (tested with testing kits :) ) my friend however got given a cap pretty much lied to and told was pure, and then found out it was pure speed... he was walking around like a zombie.. it was ridiculous... And i stayed to the end :) PS. The under cover cops were SO BAD AT THER JOB like FUCK OFF how many times do you have to tell them you dont have drugs, your not going to find them drugs until they leave... and who actually bought into them.. (we saw some dumbasses get arrested after falling prey to the pretty cop in the white mini skirt/dress.. i just told that girl "no we dont have drugs, and if we did, we wouldnt tell you because your a cop." and then i walked away and my friends followed... but we got to watch her work her mack on some dumbass who bought the bait.. pretty funny.. he never saw it coming.. *sigh*) |

DJ G3N3R4L and I were throwing down at Stage 4 at 5AM. We started late because of serato, so we had a empty stage and eventually built up a strong breaks crowd shortly after. G3N3R4L did awesome.
Good grief was the equipment on the "talent stage" bad. 6 monitors all red lighting, 2 puney bass bins and a broken ass mixer. It took a little time to get things up to par, but when we did it was funky bassline breaks right to the end. Thanks for all the support! it was fun as always. |

I dont know what idiot was in charge with the sound for the mian room but Im pissed off. The sound was garbage because it was too damn loud. The highs were WAY WAY WAY to loud. I dont understand how someone can be stupid enough to think that by playing the music louder than the equipment can handel is a good thing. All the notes blended togeatehr and were so distorted that it would have sounded better if i farted through a wistle. Not only that I think I have hearing damage because everything that I hear is still muffled and its 12:30 am the next day. Thanks a lot dusche bag.
That rant aside the 2nd room was killer and Olav's set was phenominal. |
