i said this about NYE. the highs were so loud and distorted you couldn't hear one note from another. sounded like absolute GARBAGE but nobody agreed with me.

I had sooo much fun last night!!!
Above and Beyond were fucking amazing, so many good tracks, Silence, good for me, can't sleep, and sattelite got me going crazy up at the front, screaming out all the lyrics with alisha and givener was definetly the highlight of my night!! Along with autographs and pics with them after their set =D =D =D

Mark Norman was pretty sick as well!
And of course the locals rocked it as well. B-Funk, Mychal & Ben, you all played some sweet tracks

Haha the balloon in the breakz room was great, I was hittin it too :D

The breaks room was fun, the main room was wack personally. I dunno, it seemed everytime I went in there, they were playing the same damn song.

I also think I got hearing damage. It's 1 AM the next day, and my hearing is still muffled.. Never had that happen before.

Jeez. Good night nonetheless. When's the next PNE rave, we having a summer one this year?

A&B played a lot of favourites and Mark Norman picked up the pace.

A few words from the wise... if the music is too loud at the front you CAN dance farther away from the stage. Of course it doesn't make you look as hardcore as the other ravers, but your eardrums will thank you in 10 years.

It wasnt just too loud at the front. There were also speakers set up 1/3 back and it was far too loud much past that point.

not this time my friend... ya the party was sick tho. good music all night. heard the headliners rocked it. talent stage, as always, kicked ass.

my set was a lot of fun, the mixer was fucked though and the second channel was muffled and quiet. DSL came to try to fix it up but wasn't able to do much, thanks shawn. thanks to all who were ripping it up at stage 4 i had a lot of fun and cant wait for the next solid massive.

Soma was the one droping the breaks bombs in area 2..Alla droped some sick tracks to close out the night on area 4 and miss marz as always finished the night on stage 3 with some rockin tracks.

Overall i would say it was an okay party. However, after IMF 2003 and 2005 i dont think it really compared to either. Setup in mainroom was sick but the sound was shit. There is simply never enough speakers in the mainroom needed for a venue that large. Above and Beyond got good in the end, but the beggining was torture. They played way too many classics from 2003 and 2004....I ended up sleeping in the bleachers for a bit during their set lol. Steve Hill was fucking banging with some tracks that i hope to find in the future. Mark Norman got to some good tracks near the end like Phantom Manor nd the Richard Durand remix of Lethal Industry...but overall i wasnt too impressed. I personally thought Jimmy Chou nd the other locals had better track selection. but thats just me =P

Thanks man. You just want karma =j But it was hella fun throwing down. Could've used an extra bassbin to do us justice, but everyone on the 4th stage had the same problem. So I don't mind.

the third and fourth room had crap sound (fourth especially) and are way too lit up and exposed. its not the djs, its the setup. i dont wanna dance in a room lit like daytime. if any of those djs had of played room 2 it would have been different

id also like to say, fire the fucking sound guy, he sucks ass. room 2 was the only decent sound, because the architect understands acoustics, but it got super muddy and sounded like crap later into the night, so somebody obviously fucked around with the EQs and didnt know what they were doing
