WOW, rich, set was awesome... near the end, I may not have been dancin with my body, but I was for suuuuuure dancin with my mind, hahaha, sooo tired by that point but nontheless, awesome set, juuust what I needed to finish the night off...
Good to see everyone else supportin the locals as well... Especially good to see the ladies shakin it ;) ! hehe, BTW, if anyone reads this, the girl in the pink shirt, that LOOOVED "As the Rush Comes" you looked soooooo familiar... didnt get a chance to talk to you, but if u read this, give me a PM... |

Thanks for making the attempt at clearing up that crazyness in the breaks/dnb room. Looks like wre going to have to wait for Stans point of view in af ew days. I would have to agree that you played a sick set with Adam early in the night. But you did rock the crowd with the breaks remix of in da club, which remix was it? good times although i cant hide that i thought the 4th stage was by far the most ghetto set up at a party. i honestly thought when i walked past the 3rd stage that it was a renegade stage run by some random ravers.
anyhow the main stage was fuckin spectacular. probably the most impressive set up i've seen in a LOOOOONG time. wish the 3rd and 4th stage had a few more speakers and bassbins though |

Overall I thought the show was pretty good, I was really impressed with the level of production on the main and breaks/jungle stages....music was varied anough so you could always find something you wanted to boogie to....people were wicked and OLDER!!!!! (eveyone I met was over the age of 21...an anomaly in Van's scene)
The music was good for the most part but the highlight was definately Hatrias for me....he was unbelievably solid and played wicked tunes. Gielen and Dumonde were less than I expected but decent nonetheless, and Darude's live PA was brilliant although caused a bit of a lag in the energy created by Gielen..... DJ Rap was amazing and it was the first time I got to see her perform.....wow. Faline was great as usual, as was ak1200. I spent more time running from stage to stage to catch everyone who played and as a result didn't bust it as much as I usually do.....(maybe my age is catching up with me) Big props to the kids that played in area four...the sound was most unfortunate and I wish that a little more could have been done about it because everyone who I saw perform there was awesome.....shows that sometimes the talent is right in front of your eyes, you just have to open them Thanks to Jimmy, Vlado, Mike and Ben and everyone I saw for a great time.... See you at Spooky but I will be behind the decks not on the dancefloor Oh another note.....Gielen stole my heart BIG TIME......Anyone who is humble enough to go and talk to the crowd and have the patience to sign countless autographs unprompted is amazing in my books....that shows class and dignity and I thought it was unbelivable that he was so kind....(I wish other DJ's would take a lesson from Johann......what a guy!!!!) lol okay I will stop gushing Last edited by Mirka Cerny; Sep 07, 03 at 08:29 PM. |

sorry akeel the guy who was playing was ak1200 and was white but wasn't playing in the right timeslot or at least i thought....and i don't have a mental inventory of who's who at the zoo of the dj world.....I bet you wouldn't be able to pick the correct identity for a handful of trance/techno/prog dj's too....so sheesh at least I have an open mind and can go and feel equally happy listening to any genre as long as its played well and with passion.....crap trance my ass :finger:

I had a AWSOME night!! met soo many new ppl, saw lots of familiar faces, danced like a mother fuker all night absolutly loved it !!! IMF's set was by far the best fuckin set up i have seen in my two years of raving. All i can say is WHOA. Mad ass props going out to Shy Brothers and Uh-Oh Productions. Damn they just know how to get parties going nuts. Got to meet tons of people...though everybody kept on asking me where was my raver outfit. haha sorry ya'll i was in a rush i didn't get home till 7:30 and i cought a ride off tina. hahaha
Highlights: -Dumonde's set -meeting the people who were chill -getting massages -catchin dj rap's set for a bit On the downfall I saw the girl who OD'ed...that was some scary shit considering my friend was sittin right beside her in the seats. Now that was messed up man... |

what an awsome party was really drunk when i got there and but had a good time danced my legs off since they still hurt got really tiered at about 330 and just chilled in the bleachers till it was time to go dont thuink i can do an all nighter again i even had energy pills well i will write more l8r cause my head still isnt working

First off...I'd like to thank Mirka for taking me to IMF for my birthday...You rock girl.
