Personally, I think a portion of DJ's job is to entertain the crowd. Whether or not you're spinning breaks, house, trance, whatever... if you're not recogonizing your fans, but instead i.e. yawning, leaning on the monitor with his arms crossed waiting to cue in the next track, grumbling at staff, etc. changes one's perspective on their "favorite" DJ. I would think that would faze the crowd from not "participating" in the party.

You played a very similar set to your exclusive in March, except you threw in some more tiesto. ;) which was very deadly. In fact, that exclusive set hasen't left my cd player since I received it in March, and to hear it live was a memorable party moment of the year.

It would be great if you could attend another Massive in the future, you made everyone's night when things turned to shit.

the next morning we fly over to Vancouver and the start of 4 gigs in Canada, were met @ the airport by our promoter for this leg David Brady and whisked off to our hotel…down time and dinner…we set off to the gig @ the PNE Agrodome.
Unfortunately on this leg our ‘Tech-Speck’ TM Nick cant join us for this leg due to some passport mix up with customs (He can look very Dogey sometimes!) and if there is any time he is needed than this is it…we arrive early our Freefloaters blown up placed under the decks…but due to the location of part of the P. A ‘s LARGE SPEAKERS (directly behind the Stage and Monitors)’No, No, No, No, No, no one can here there mix as the P. A is LOUD!!…It’s a tough one to work on but half deaf and Diggin Deep…Oakey battles on to please the masses…shame … but in Calgary…things can only get better!

^ on a more positive note... oakenfold did play one bangin progressive track around peak time... a killer drivin bass... but i have no clue what that track is. any clues? some parts almost sounded guitar-like...
