I had a fuckin blast at this rave... and YES it was hella packed.. maybe not in the breaksroom or house room.. but if u walked in the main room >> then ud see helllla packed...
Music was off the hook.. i havent heard music that crazyyy in a while.. Shy Bros. , CJ STONE, & KAI TRACID blew the roof off... the music was soo trippy.. i noticed barley anyone was dancing during peak times cuz everyone was juss soo fucked... good times good times... Met lots of people... but dont remember everyone... lol time to sleep!! |

Couldn't ask for a better way to spend my first hour of the new year, dropping sick tracks to a dope crowd. Thanks everyone that checked out my set!
Overall fun party, lot's of good friends there to bring in the new year. |

I somehow ended up there last night and people were like 'whoaaa what are you doing here' and then I was like 'DUDE! I don't know'. I love my friends. Z trips set was technically awesome, I just wish he didn't look sooo bored when he was playing. I hugged a discoball and it cut my arm. Theeen I looked at my watch and was like 'ooh shit I've been awake for 24 hours' and I was very very tired. The end.

sick sick shit..... i enjoyed all night and saw so many people from this site as well as met a bunch of new people...... was sick, DJ stims!!!!!!!! you rocked it man but where the fuck was my tipsy at 5:30...... looks like u shit the bed there..
hopefully i'll be able to go to kiss and tear it up again....... man for like 6 hours it was intensity!!!!!! Shy brothers were dope but the countdown was a lil fucked. |

oh stims wasn't the only good one, i saw z-trip was disapointed with his vibe so i watched trazzik who started that whole hip-hop shit in stage 4...... dj venus was sick although all the time i wanted to see that dancer she had he said no :( but i saw a bit it was nutty........... shy brothers, johnny ill, ooooooh man was it tight.

This was a definitely a good calibre show. Aside from a less than extrordinary vibe during the first few hours, the party turned out alright. Vlad & Mirk opened up with some very cool "not quite prog not quite electro almost trance" and Jimmy and Dennis played some great anthems. As soon as Shy Bros started pounding out the hard trance, it was all good and everything was coming together. CJ Stone, what can I say? Third time seeing him here, and he has yet to disappoint. Also scored a record from him this time around, so I can't complain about that either.
Kai Tracid....oh man....I've literally been waiting for someone to bring him to Vancouver for years. The guy was masterful behind the decks. Flawless mixing. Excellent track selection. When he dropped Voodoo People I just lost it. Dear god...so sick, just so sick. He even played some really acid stuff which was a nice change of pace. I gotta admit, I'm not huge on BT anymore, as my musical style has evolved alot since listening to his early albums, but man, hearing "Dreaming" on a huge system like that just took me way back and reminded me why I first got into this music. And when he dropped "Frozen February", damn, I just couldn't stop openly smiling from ear to ear, such an uplifting and energetic track. Shouts to Nuf, Shawn, Attila, Drina, Silverwinged, Dalyn, Ryan, Edster, Rach, Ben, Evan, Sean, Jimmy, Vlad, Mirk, and all the participants in the asian circle of death, cuz let's face it, its just not a party w/o the nammers :) Bozga, Silverwinged, you guys can back me up on this :p |

Time to post my review of this party!i!
I think i had the best new years to date. It really was a wicked party and people who didn't go really did miss out on a great thing. If you were there only for the count down. Jimmy and stan got the crowd going with their energy on stage and with the shy brothers playing some sick tracks. For music vladoo and mirka set the stage for a good night. Jimmy and tazix played some wicked music and was a good tag team. Shy brothers started strong and didn't stop. After i went to see Neal at stage 4 who had a large crowd for a smokepit stage. Mike L. What can i say, this guy kicks some serious ass. He packed the 4th room and people were yelling for more, it was awsome. I couldn't believe how much energy his crowd or himself brought, i couldn't stop dancing. Venus played some great house down at stage 3 was a fun set. I listened to some of Mrs. Cutain (or however you spell it) house, but it was a little too prog for me so back to the main room i went. I ended the night listening to the master of funk Hirshee, his music gave me a 2nd wind. i'm going to switch between fnk names and real, just because! twisted-angle - was good to see you there, should party with you more often *nerda* - shoot me a message sometime, was fun partying with you and elisha - ^^ same goes for you ~~ drinaboo - sketchy ravers are fun. Justin, dustin skytrain and dalton wtf haha. Super happy you come out to party n stuff. silverwinged - How much did you drink omg, you looked ready to fall asleep from the time you got there, hope you had a good time though. Pop that collar! Intake - I know i didn't talk with you much, but it was good to see you. ben/kody - From what i heard walking by you guys played some hard shit$$ harp/kamal - Got Trance? you two should play like that more often. wizzfish - hey i meet you finally~ methodical - good to finally meet you man $ amanda - omg you went to a rave?? much <3 plur and all that caroline - good to party with you, happy new years mushmellow - you remembered who i was for once! i was so happy, it was fun dancing with you haha, dont worry i wont tell anyone. steveo - dude are you okay? fuck if i heard what happened is true, well get well soon |
