This was my first NYE party, and man o man it was sick. the count down was mint ! Kai tracid blew my mind, it was about time i saw him live. bt was alright, i expected better, but non the less it was rad to see him. cj stone droped some sick ass tracks, shy brothers definitly got the vibe going. To everyone i met, happy new year, and happy Sketchy saturday to all :D

thank god 2004 is over
i was soo antsy to get the countdown over with... i was impressed with the setup and the organization, djs and staff enter a seperate door, thank god... too bad all the lights werent working, but hey thats to blame on the lighting guys. shy bros dropped a good share of quality hard dance... Kai layed down outter space..i couldnt believe it, and he ended it with the asys mix of concious (which i got signed...soo stoked about that) Cj Stone is on funny character, hella down to earth too, bt brought the vibe back up again in the main too... i was really impressed to hear z-trips effort... he brought down his whole setup, 5 crates of vinyl and a microphone just for his set...now thats a true beat junkie. the 4th stage was bumpin with new and old tunes... my highlight was indeed detn8r's run in with the infamous nammer cirlce of death...oh wow... Charlie spun a wicked set from what i heard...and too bad i missed the Tribeca theme!! DAMNIT!! Allison and Ash....to bad they didnt have the waiver forms eh...wouldve been pretty cool to see you girl rippin shit up on the stage. wow im way too sleepy for this... to everyone i missed...sorry im just too tired to think ps HAPPY NEW YEAR YALL! |

I just woke up and im still a lil tippsy. Had fun in room 4.. thx to all that rocked the dancefloor in my drunken misery..
BTW - if anyone lost a black Canon Camera in the 4th room .. I found it at 6am by the tables. See U ALL at KISS. PS. Focker ur an animal -- next time i`ll play tipsy i promise. Also thx to the security who let me bring in my cold shOTs! |

Ohhh this NYE was a sweet party... But NO fireworks... :( Someone told me there was gonna be fireworks... The music was good i mean GREAT... Main stage rocked the visuals and the stage were set up nicely... and the stage by the smoke pit i would have to say those guys at that stage dropped some sick tracks... I wasnt feeling good part of the night by the time the count down hit i was ready to PaRtY... Thanx Solid for a great party... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE...

big thanks to Stan and the Solid corp for letting Vlado and I play :D:D....alway interesting to see what people's reactions are to what we drop.....lol the mystery genre. btw that mask I had on was Carl Cox...Vlado lost his Tiesto mask in the process of fixing the monitors.
Big hugs to Julie for the ingenious lighting fix, and big hugs to Trevor for very much needed tech support. Good too see lots of faces out early. Mike, I hope your set went well.....Sean sorry for not playing your track I hope you got it to Kai...missed alot of people who played :( but all my love goes out to Sean x2, Mike L, Jimmy and Dennis, Mike and Ben, the sound guy who had his brain together enough to put foam under the turntables, all the TA's in the front row.....the PNE staff and especially the cop who took it upon himself to try to act like he was my long lost friendy :D:D good times HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! You are too much. Vlado pimped it. I chopped it. Sean plowed it. and Julie cleaned up the whole mess. Trevor ran off with the pie. See ya next year :D:D |

Hrmmm well where to start off. Saw a bunch of people that I didn't expect to see at the party. So hello to you fellow fnk'ers!!! Stay sobered the whole night as usual. It's been a year and 2months now GO ME! hahaha. The question always comes up "Your sober!??! How do you do it?" the answer "I just do it =)".
Anyhow sets of the night IMO Shy Brothers and Jimmy Chou vs Tazix. Wow these guys just rocked the decks for 3 hours. Non stop pounding trance. I was pretty impressed with the set up of the main room. The three lasers were definitly insane going off all night. Miss Kutin had a pretty chill set. It was something new to me because I barely hear it people that play Two Step in vancouver. Hirshee rocked it as usual though he looked beat haha. DJ Venus had the house stage bumpin. Bozga threw down some sick beats for the time I was there I flailed to his set and than my disfunctional ankle started to be a pain in the ass. I was all over the place that night but majority on the mainstage. I would do shouts but there are too many of you!!! So therefore you all get one big phat shout =) |

WHOEVER did security..
some were total assholes. not saying in general, but a few that me and my friends encountered... GRRRRRR anyways it was a great night. awsome music. i liked the smaller dance floor i got confused.. wheres the breaks room??? and then when i did find it (oh, its still there..), it was empty!.. maybe everyone else lost it too. hah my first NYE rave. <3 thats the way to bring in the new year!! and there is this one security guy who i see at every single coliseum rave. he's cool. lol i thought the 'vibe' was pretty good. lots of people talking to random people. plurness all around! met 3x as many people as i usually do at a normal rave. maybe its just the new years. who knows. too bad there was no big bust of confetti at the stroke of 12. >.< Last edited by mithridate; Jan 05, 05 at 07:40 PM.
