Yeah, I agree. I tried to get a shot of the main stage at 6am..What was that white box in the middle?


The rave was wicked. The house room wasn’t as energetic whenever I passed it, but either way the main stage made up for that.

The white box in the middle, I'm pretty sure had an extra set of speakers on each side of the main room - this helped create the nice overall sound throughout.

The setup was A+ this time around in the main room, major props to the Solid crew.

2. The music was amazing...
Breaks room - 2: Icey was great, i cant believe some of you didnt enjoy as much as i did.. i had a hard time dancing, because i had a blast just from standing and starring at his great djing style, it was awesome time and my first time seing icey. What i expected was no where near as good as he actually was.. he was great! was worth every second. i love that bassss!

Well now that my brain is rested and fully functional ill give my short review.

Overall an amazing effort on behalf of the Solid crew. Best setup ive seen at the PNE. The lighting, sound and 4 screens were awesome. The visuals on the screens were kind of lacking at times, but it was still decent.

Had a wicked time, met a few new people and chatted it up.

Hands down the best set of the night was given to Albert vs Kyau, WOW! I was kind of lacking energy around that time, and when they hit the decks it got my ass up and dancing, props. Amazing how they can get so into their sets, they blew the roof off of the place.

Thanks to Neil for the cheap tickets, and steveo for the sketchy adventure back, and GODDAMNIT if I want to sit out front of a gas station and smoke a few cigerettes even though its about 100ft away from a comunity police station you fucker, I will! hahah

Overall ill give that party a 8/10.

Well another party in the books. I had a great time, even though I was pretty soaked by the time I got in.
I was looking forward to Icey's set, which was very different. In the begining I was like what the hell? Then he got the flow going and the breaks were unstopable! JuJu's set blew me away, great to hear that dnb...even though a couple hundred feet away, trance was pumping away. SonnyChiba...what can I say? I never heard any of your sets before. When I stopped by your stage I had to stay, the music was just that damn good! Thanks for the sticka Ashes! It's on the door of parties now. Marty sorry I missed your set, but I'm sure the trance, acid techno and hard trance was great.

Great Party all in all. Props to Solid, that was the best main room setup since imf 2003. Pretty good vibe for a Coliseum rave. Loved Josh the Funky 1 in the breaks room, it was packed. I really think House belongs in the second room. Saw a lotta people i havent seen in a long time, Met a lotta new ones, was it just me or was there a lotta newbes at this party ? BK rocked the place, and Kyau Vs. Albert got me going early in the morning with Velvet Morning. There is only one thing that ticks me off the most, way too many undercover cops now asking for e, and there getting sneaker every party that goes by. Ill see you guys all at Imf, YOJI ! ! !

Fusion Dreams was freakin' awesome! I had a blast. Was an interesting bus ride there and back. Must remember Energy Drinks for every Rave.

Was talking to BK behind the main room and we decided to go for a smoke. We talked out there for a long time.. People were asking him for smokes, lighter usage and then totally ignoring him.

I was like "wow, these people dont know who you are"
his reply: "yeah man, that's weird. I guess its better this way otherwise i'd have some twats asking me questions i dont want to answer"

when we got into the topic of music production i was shocked to hear that he doesnt have any tb-303's. For someone who's been around I was thinking he'd have like 2 or 3.
I guess software 303 emulators are the new future!
