I paid a cabby a $20 flat rate to drive me out to Steveston from Downtown. We smoked a J on the way, but he kicked me out about 1 Km from my house. Cabs are greedy.

I would have to barter my cab when I was in Poland.

I would ask how much it would cost to get me from the bus station to my grandparents home. My family would tell me the approx price so that I could do this whereever I went. The taxi drivers would sometimes not turn the meter on, or turn it on prior to you getting in and it would be more then it should be.
