Dont the new ppl get a walk through at the gym when they first sign up? From what i remember i was clearly reminded that i have to wipe down the machines after im done. some ppl are just idiots and are inconsiderate. There is no excuse for not exercising, i fell off for a few months and im trying very hard to get back into it. My work offers circuit training classes and yoga classes before work, lunch and after, and that gives me absolutely no excuse to skip out. I think more and more office jobs are offering exercise classes in the office, which is SOO amazing. Its a great break from sitting in front of the computer all day and it is almost a place to get your sanity back. Keep pushing towards your 08 resolutions everyone!

myra- you been to the yin classes at yaletown? if you have, how are they?

I'm more partial to the power and hot classes, so i haven't ventured into yin territory, though i have been hoping to! my friend says that they are really good and the hour classes go really quickly because you only do about 4 poses and hold them for a long time. It's good to go if you're looking for a great stretch and opening up of the body. One of my favorite postures ever for that is a yin posture called pigeon. I could sit in that forever :)

And as for getting hit on at the gym, I fucking hate it. lol. That's why I go to a 24 hour gym (when I do go that is, hehe). There's very few, if any, people there later at night - I used to go after work around 11pm. :)
