I think self esteem is really becoming an issue with younger girls. A lot of them are becoming more and more insecure and masking that with a risque image that often gets them into situations that they regret later on.
Sal, I completely disagree with your "live in the moment" comment, when you think about it, a lot of these girls may be physically ready, but I think having sex at such a fragile age, often leads to emotional trauma in the future.. especially when it was a situation where they were drunk, or didn't think it through.
I know this, because I was once that age and I made some stupid decisions.
I just wish more of these young girls realize what they're getting themselves into :(

I agree with goddessa, dont ever rag on a young girl who has decided to keep her baby. Odds are she didnt do anything wrong, no girls at that age try to get pregnant (well for the most part). Do you know how much courage it would take for someone that age to keep a child and face people in a school of hundreds of people who are making the same comments that you are making to her face? She is a baby with a baby, and that is very hard decision to make. Question that if it was you in that position, would you have the courage to have your child? i too take a look around a feel like children are having sex younger and younger. it's not their fault for the most part. look at media especially...it's sexually influenced. but they aren't being educated about consequences...obviously. but i don't think it's going to change things if we as older females look down on them. we should be trying to help educate them.

I agree with you 110%! I for one would not be a lil bitch that most guys are and live up to the responsibility of being the child's father.
