Yes and no.

I've found a decent job, I've only partially done post secondary and the experience I get at my job will look pretty fucking good on a resume.

BUT

I think that there's no harm in finding something you actually enjoy and are passionate about and pursuing it further. Grumbling about papers and studying aside, post secondary CAN provide an opportunity to go in depth into something you've got a knack for- and you may actually ENJOY it, which means that you're actually likely to get a job/future doing something you love- how cool is that?

I'm not arguing for or against, I just don't think I'd label it as completely unnecessary.

yes it's true education can really open up your horizons. but i think a lot of us can do without running up huge student debts to pay for fluff courses or programs. anywho, i'm speaking from a job-seeking perspective so that doesn't apply to people who are actually in university to learn and smoke weed and read noam chomsky.
