I tried "paper to cranial learning via osmosis" in highschool. It doesn't work.

heh, yeah- its a lot of work, but its all pretty interesting stuff. I came back to school this year hating the idea, and wishing I wasnt. Funny thing is I'm actually having a great time this semester. Its like I stopped giving a shit, and all of a sudden I'm actually getting interested in the ideas, not the insitution. So the in-class I have tomorrow, the exam and paper due on tuesday, and the paper due next wednesday aren't freaking me out like they would have last year. Somehow I've become philisophical about the whole thing. Who knew?

I had a prof at langara that did that (gave us all the questions ahead of time). It was awesome. of course, she actually expected you to have a good answer.

yeah just this past week i've started to feel the switch over from summer to school time again. i'm reading my textbooks and studying and taking more notes and just generally feeling more interested in going to class and learning.

i haven't officially declared my major yet, but it's going to be (as far as i have it figured right now) major in film production with a minor in either philosophy or sociology.

i want to look into the creative writing course too.

film rocks. I did some film studies courses, and was going to minor until poli ate up all my spare credits.

Philosophy and Sociology are both crank departments, though.
