Tribeca Closing???

K, I heard that Tribeca is closing down...I'm not sure if this is true but if it is I'd like to start a petition to try and keep it open because I'm sure we all have good memories there, and I'd be really upset if it closes down so who's with me?? And who has more info on it???

Tribecas closed down before.. like a year ago or so.

its not that it closes down.. its that.. they dont do nights there anymore.

but thats what happen when you underagers take advantage of a place and ruin it for others.

tho... the reason it got closed down the other night, was cause there were too many ppl inside.

Tribeca is a fine establishment if everything is done respoisbly. I Personally don't care for goin there anymore.. but some one.. some one ALWAYS drags me there*coughPATcough*.....

As for the underagers.. it's boys to.. I could name ppl from boys sexes that go there and drink and have regis thinkin they're of age. But usally they dont do anything stupid. The ppl that do, do stupid things.. are the one that think they got it all goin on... I'm sorry but if your gonna go tear the bathroom to shit.. while your drunk as fuck.. you deserved to be smack.. or start fights just cuase you think your drunk and invinceble... should you really be drinkin?

Don't get me wrong.. I've been going there for 3 years... I turned 19 last year.. but I never disrespected the place by being an immature idiot.

k yeh true true i 4got about the whole underage drinking there. I also just started going there I've only been a few times, I am underage but I've never even drank there or done anything stupid so this really sux for me but oh well You all have good points so I'm over it, just hafta mind something new to do on thursday nights I guess..

I think some ppl are just talking that "tribecca is over" Probly what this could mean is now there could be ID checks and someone keeping an eye out making sure not so many ppl are loytering out side anymore.

Luey is the new owner and Regis will be hanging around helping him get to know the place etc for the next lill bit. So far Luey seems to really like the place and hopes to make it even better with some touch ups. Therefore Tribecca may close down for some renovations?

Tibecca to you guys is having the regular ppl and DJ's you know always comeing down. When you stop coming and suporting thats when Tribecca ends.

i like tribeca. I think that there need to be tons and tons of more places like it. it's just a spot to throw down small parties, local dj's to do their thing, promoters to keep busy, people to drop in and have a brew or two or four or ten.

Why wouldn't underagers wanna give it a go? and why aren't the people who can identify the younger people just pipe down. there's nothign to fucking do in vancouver, or was it DIFFERENT when you were younger than 19 three years ago?! we should be supporting this kinda shit.

Common now people we've all had that moment where we've wanted the cheap thrill. Sure it shouldn't be like every weekend, but still it was an adrenalyn rush where kids thought it was the cool thing to do. Go out on a weekend and get completely hammered and ruined out of their mind. There is nothing wrong with that. We've all got to start at some point in our lives. Atleast their not at some bunk ass house party where people drink and start yakkin all over other people's houses.

Sure things got out of hand last weekend, but think about it, even if there wasn't a tribeca i'm sure you would see younger 15 year olds at clubs EVENTUALLY sneaking in here and there. Let's just face it our nightlife just has these youngins creeping all over the place. However, if it really bothers you that much I'm just curious to why you people let it get to you. If they don't bother you than who gives a flying pig? Surely I don't. Your there to relax to party to enjoy the music see friends. Not to say "hey look at that 15 year old...ewww what are they doing here?"

Places serving minors fucks with my money making because it gives the city another reason to come down hard on all the clubs, not only the ones that serve high schoolers.
