impax are made of polyurethane on the heel as well, but im guessing with a mix of a different product as well because the impax heel is A LOT harder. wear a normal shox on one foot and impax on another u can immediate feel the difference. impax were just so ppl can purchase the "shox lookalike" for a cheaper price. impax usually goes from 110-130 while shox are 170-210. but none the less the impax are good for lil highschool kids who just care about the look of shoes and it fulfills the "I LOVE BOUNCY THINGS IN MY SHOE TOO". im facinated to try out the reekbok/adidas shox lookalikes.

u just had to pick the ugliest colored ones. UNFAIR. there are some goregous shox out there. the R4s u posted there are made for more of a narrow foot and was one of the first shox style that came out. the styles got nicer and nicer. PROMISE. and if u dont like the four 1" shox.. they made five 1/2" shox..extra shox to lower the shoe down, less bulky and more "feminine like". those aren't bad either. and may i stress again...most comfortable shoes ever. expensive, but worth every penny. ppl with bad knees.. awesome shoe to get.

i'm not a big fan of nike, but I like a few of the colours. Besides, runners arn't suppost to look that great.

p.s- I LOVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE my Asics gel kayanos! Same price as shox pretty much but the control my pronation and are sooo breathable

I really like them...Not in the colours above but they are hella comfy...I would have bought a pair if they had them in pink at the time...
