People who delete threads....

(I am sure this is a repost for me)

I was just trying to read Fable's "apologies" when I got the invalid link screen. (yes, it has been a bit of a slow day at work) Which means that he went in and deleted it.

I have seen threads closed by admins for being offensive in nature, but never deleted.

Fable you started your post to apologize for your mean naturedness and how you seem on the internet. That you don't really mean it, and that it shouldn't be taken so seriously, as it is only your opinion. Did you think that you wouldn't get a response they way you did? I hate to say it but you make your bed, you lie in it.

If you can't back up what you are willing to put into print, raver message board or not, then don't post at all.

I hate when ppl do this too!! And it's soo annyoing when you are following a thread lol and you can't wait to read what happens.. kinda like a tv show that has been cancelled half way through the season haha now how am I ever going to know what happened?

old news same concept. I didn't want to make a thread with the exact same title.....

Humility dictates that I eat my own rash words and LOOK weak, rather than further defend them and BE ignorant. Hence the deletion.

This may be somewhat of an alien concept for you Avana as your words consistantly peg me as those of someone who lacks any real integrity, but its how I live. I have no problem making mistakes and admitting them. But the apology post would have turned into yet another shiticane and I decided that walking away with my tail between my legs was better than staying put and fighting for nothing.

Its funny this got bumped, I never read it the first time around.

sorry dude i didn't bump it for you. I bumped it b/c other ppl have been doing it lately and I remember reading that there was a thread about it before and I didn't want to repeat another thread with the EXACT same title.

Everyone has their reasons.....I didn't want to open up a can of worms here.

So is mine, but sometimes it just happens. Its a well seasoned veteran of conflict that has the ability to confidently stay "tail between the leg" free.

In the past doing so would involve me in violent acts or spitting terrible words that I will regret for the rest of my life. These days I would rather have people who mean nothing to me think of me as "weak" than get in the situations like in my past.

Its tough, but ultimately its one step close to some level of spirituality for me.
