fucking camera!

so I got my digital camera for christmas use it all the time I fucking love the thing. I go to delete a few pics off it today and it turns on an take a pic without me even pushing any buttons. Then I go to delet the pic and none on the display buttons are working. Im fucking freaking out cause it worked fine on the weekend when I used it. My mom going to take it back to get looked at I hope it's not going to cost me a shit load to fucking fix it.

I hope that you have a warranty for it. Usually it's for a year when you buy it and then you can add more years onto it. My camera stopped working and I took it into the Sony store to get it fixed. They fixed it for free. I just had to pay the shipping fee back from the Sony store as they apparently pay for it to get shipped out. Then I bought 4 more years of warranty on it for like $60. So if anytihng happens to it in the next few years I'm 100% covered.

Future shop i find is great with my cell phones and camera I bring them in and they usually just give me a brand new one.
but so far so good, lets just hope my camera makes it through Europe

so this is really fucked up. I havn't used my camera since it started fucking up. Today I turned it on and everything's fine. Im so confused Im still gunna take it in and get it looked at tho.

sounds like the firmware is glitchy..... any different brand batteries you may have used btw?

Well I bring the thread back again because the last time my camera fucked up my parents didn't take it back it just started to work again, so my mom said if it fucked up again we'd take it to get looked at. I turn it on today to check my batteries and all that, and it starts taking a pic without me pushing any buttons and it wont let me delete any pics or push any buttons so tomorrow I'm taking it in to get looked at. The only thing is the warranty card that I have says that for the warranty to be valid or something I need to take the receipt with me. Well I told me parents this cause they bought it for me and my dad goes to look for the receipt, and of course cant find it. So I'm going to take it in tomorrow and hopefully when I tell them it was a Christmas gift and show them the warranty thing I have they'll fix it. I just want my camera to work and not be broken!.

So I took the camera in yesterday and they couldn't do anything with out the receipt. so this weekend my parents have to take it back to the store they bought it from and get a copy of the receipt and then send it out with fucking sucks. I hope it doesn't take forever to get fixed.
