also:

-waking up to find everything you own has been stolen and you're stranded in a foreign country
-waking up to your cats bum on your nose
-waking up to the sound of your ex saying "i just really think we were meant to be together"
-waking up soaking wet because the tent has a leak


all the above have happened to me in the past year :(

I'll 2nd the waking up wet in the tent. Last year I woke up to me floating in 4 inches of water and everything I owned soaking wet. Our tent had slide down a lil hill and filled with water during a huge thunder storm.

Also waking up to screaming is not a nice one either :(
