Seriously now, Twisted doesn't have to compete with Dooms Night. Spooky is assured to sell out with only a 2500 capacity. The name alone brings out lots of people. Who cares about Solid's lineup? Twisted isn't gonna bring out more headliners just cuz Solid decided to do so. For god's sake this isn't some sort of pissing match. "Oh yeah, you got Push? Well we're gonna get B&J! Oh yeah, you got Alphazone? Well now we got Svenson, so there!"

Twisted is content to throw a decent sized party which will sell out that much easier and is that much more of a sure thing. It may not be the biggest party in the city but its guaranteed to be the vibiest. Let all the 14 year olds go to the PNE, they'll be so trashed they won't care who's playing anyway, and, yeah, let all the people go who wanna stare at their European idols for ten hours. But the people who wanna dance and who genuinely came to have fun, they'll be at the legend called Spooky ;)

All I have to say is this. You honestly have balls of grapefruits by assuming we brought down Blank and Jones as well as Svenson to match Alphazone and MIKE. From the beginning after announcing Mauro Picotto, Tomcraft, and Anne Savage, we have stated on numerous of occasions that there was a possibility that we were not done adding to the line up. So don't go around saying that this is a pissing match or what not. Solid just wants to throw a show with fresh talent and put together a show that this city will enjoy.

So your pretty much stating that the people who don't want to have fun will be at Dooms Night? Are you telling me if Twisted put together a crap ass line up that you would go let alone other people? I know people who are going to Spooky for their "European Idol" Alphazone (no disrepsect intended at all. Alphazone is a world renoun producer and dj. Does he actually help throwing the parties? Or is he just choking on their cocks?

Either way, it makes the image of the production company he's trying to defend look really bad, and I'm pretty certain even the promoters he has this affiliation with would rather not have him creating this kind of image.

I'm not really sided either way as I probably won't attend either party, but the bickering is really irritating to a lot of people on this board. I think if I was in Kraig's position, I'd have a really hard time being diplomatic when you've asked him to cut it out more than a few times...

they have VERY appealing line ups

I too think both shows will be good but I have to say it Tradition is Tradition. In this society that we have evolved into we seem to be losing more and more traditional things and events. This is why I will hit up Spooky but I wish all parties the best of luck on Hallo's Eve

Just to clear things up that I am not defending SOLID. Like I already said both shows will do well. I just don't appreciate how he pretty much meant that majority of 14 year olds will be at Dooms Night. You and I both know that both shows will have their fair share of newbies. Throwing parties is not just fun and games, it's also a business. I mean, what does this guy DO for SOLID? I mean, if I was new to this whole party scene, and I looked upon this thread and noticed the things he said, I would know that Twisted provides much more professionalism and does not worry about what other people have to say. That in itself would perk my interest for this party, because we know the more professional you can be - the better the party will be.

Darren unfortunately, seems to not go about his representation in a professional manner, and when it comes to this business - no matter how you look at it, it's cut throat. And the last thing you need defending your business is a smart mouth.

If you thoroughly read what I said, Darren, I stated that this ISN'T a "pissing match", okay? I was mocking the whole situation, because Dreckis stated that Twisted should ad to the lineup based on Solid's own additions. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that, but seriously re-read what I wrote. That was meant to be humorous. Please stop taking everything people say about Spooky vs Dooms Night so seriously. You know Solid will do well? Great, they probably will, as will Spooky (I've said this a hundred times), but you don't have to go around proclaiming it to the world everyday.

Shouldn't it be enough that you know its going to be a good time without droning on about it to everyone else? I tend to agree with the preceeding statements, you truly are the Solid Defender around here, but like Kraig, stated, tact is key. A suggestion now: even if someone had been openly disrespecting Solid, this does not give you the right to jump on that person's back and rant about it on the internet. These forums arn't just for promotion, but for the free exchange of opinion. You yelling and screaming about it isn't going to change their opinions about you or Solid, if anything it will annoy them and turn them against you still further. I would be stoked to see any of those dj's come sure olav is good but i've seen him twice already. I'd especially like to see Steve Angelo or Ian Carey.
