All this whiny crap is getting really irritating. I don't know if solid is worrying about losing their shirts on this show, but it really seems like they're bitter about the direction Twisted is taking with their party. Obvuiously it is your perogative to tell us how great you are, but do it on your own thread. From what i've seen throughout this (and most other party-promo) threads, is that the general attiude of Solid, and those who are affiliated with them (or at least those who so fiercely defend them) is really unprofessional. Taking every opportunity to take cheap shots. I would say as an act of respect, don't post on eachother's threads. This includes all the bogus qualifying statements like "i don't mean to knock <insert production company name here>" and "i already like the lineup but..."
Frankly it is a waste of all of our time to listen to this endless banter. Why don't we wait and see whose party goes off... i hope they both do... but from listening to all the bullshit, i know i've already made up my mind for which party i'm going to... and it doesn't rhyme with Smallid.

Spooky has been THE halloween party for nearly the past decade, and the competition parties haven't blown me away yet. (...well IMF was pretty sick)

Hope to see u all at Spooky, i'll be there with green rave specs in tow.

You yelling and screaming about it isn't going to change their opinions about you or Solid, if anything it will annoy them and turn them against you still further. Basically what I'm saying is try to be less confrontational and stop thinking that every remark we make is directed at you and in a detrimental sense, no less.

Let me get things straight to people, YES - DLO is evidently a supporter of Solid Corp. But in no way, is he the spokes person for the company of Solid. Its his own personal opinion as a Solid supporter. Same goes for all you Spooky supporters how you like to defend the show. Same way how DETN8R points out how SPOOKY is the place to be and all the 14 yr olds are at PNE. (its called BIAS VIEWS) You do know that it could go VICE-VERSA right?

Are you playing at Spooky DETN8R? Aren't you also another SPOOKY defender? (especially stating that all 14 yrs are at PNE) hence, isn't your view bias. As I stated in the LOUNGE - lets stop this nonsense bashing/criticism. Its not necessary for you to critcize Dooms Night to make Spooky look better. Neither should the Solid supporters criticize Spooky in the other thread. Let the people decide and leave the negative thoughts away from both parties. As I stated before - CHILL OUT and APPRECIATE - what these two productions are doing for you.

Stan, in no way did I bash your company. I've made it no secret that I openly support both parties, of course, I'm prejudiced towards Spooky. It was my first party years back and it holds alot of fond memories for me. But in no way did I bash your party. Darren decided to jump to conclusions is all. Everyone else seems to understand that what was said was said without any degree of seriousness, so why can't you? If you have any further replies, I ask that you pm me as opposed to replying in this thread. Lets keep the debates out of here and get back to talking about the show. Thanks :)

... the scene is sick now... P.L.U.R...I miss those days when everyone was excitied a week prior to the events.....I miss those days when we have to call in to find out where the venues were....I miss those days when everyone seriously enjoys the music and enjoys hanging out with everyone in the party...I miss those days when we used to swap snacks and pops with our new friends...I miss those days when everyone is nice to everyone else..I see lots of new promoters and tix sellers now forgot the meaning of party...they focus on money, selling the most tixs, seperate u and me into different productions and all that...

I can still find the vibe alive @ clubs like Sonar, Lotus, Passion and the list goes on. Crowds there are actually enjoying themselves and having good times with their friends.

Instead of fighting over forums and talking craps, for those of you, turn on Radio 1, go get yourself a few DJ Mags. Plz understand this, electronic music is a form of art, a kind of culture. Understand the music before start making compliants, comments and talking shits; dont let people think you are an idiot, for your own good.
