Sounds like you've got some deeper shit going on that the excessive drug use (masking emotion/feeling, inability or unwillingness to deal??) is bringing to the forefront.
Lay off the sticky, try going for a run, hit some weights, and look back on the stress introduced to your life lately. Talk to someone if you're not sure how to sort it out. Good luck. |

chronic use of pot from a young age contributes to social anxiety because of changes in brain chemistry. this has been confirmed by research in the UK, which was why they criminalized it again.
you might try children's size benadryl (12.5 mg) every 2-4 hours for the anxiety to sedate you, but do not overdo diphenhydramine due to the risk of anticholinergic psychosis which is more disassociative than say, a 100 g bar of hash brownies. society anxiety worsened by THC is probably a subset of paranoia. |

I personally also have had quite a few bouts with anxiety over the last few years of my life.
Eventually when it got bad I went to a doctor. They just wanted to put me on chemicals. Not my idea of solving the problem. This lead me to a naturopath. She was an incredible Woman. This was her advise. Number 1 thing: Diet Anxiety is almost like a little alarm going off in your brain. It's saying "I'm malfuntioning in some way, a little help here? Please?" Water is huge. Put in a conscious effort to drink at LEAST 1 litre of water a day, 2 is better. Sugar is really bad. It seriously tears through your veins like little shards of glass. It causes highs and lows, a lot like many other drugs, and can have a huge effect on anxiety. Caffine is a stimulant. Avoid it for a while. It increases your heart rate and can make you a lot more sensitive as you become over-stimulated. You get the idea. You don't have to stop eating these things just cut down a bit and see how you feel...and DRINK WATER. It really helps. Number 2: Exercise When you excercise your brain releases endorfins that make you feel really good and really relaxed. Almost like getting stoned off your own brain juice. It's pretty sweet and very important. NUmber 3: Meditate Spend at least 15 minutes a day, hopefully more, sitting still and focusing on clearing thoughts out of your head. A really good way to do this is to picture your thoughts as clouds just kinda floatin' on by. Detach yourself from em' and don't get frustrated when a thought pops back up. Just turn it into a cloud and watch it float away. If you keep this up for a little while you will relax. It's tricky at first but it REALLY works. Be persistant. and as far as the weed goes, it's probably just amplifing your anxiety. Just cut back a bit, watch your diet, excersise, and meditate a bit. You'll be fine bro. |
