Alot of people survived it and ended up making multiples of what they had before the correction. man you really dont know what you are talking about. the stock market and its valuations are as about as rational as you are, so its a given that fact, prices will correct themsleves in the long run, so that sometimes people get burnt. it is no indication of conspiracy since no one really knows what actually caused the crashes in 29, 87, 98 and 2000 other then it was a multitude of factors and they had alot to over valuation and crazy fuck investors(behavioural finance is a leading edge into the examination of how people go mark paul crazy when they invest.) I think everyone is so hardset in their ways that no amount of debate could dislodge such ad hominem statements.
Sometimes it's best not to let reason appeal to personal interests and to think beyond that to the unequivocal end, as some believe. Others subscribe to the view that personal interests is an entity that is a correcting force.

I gather that you establishment type are socially conditioned to the extent that you cant civilly have a conversation on this. Nonetheless, I dont mind giving the benefit of the doubt for the sake of arguement. I would like to read any of your take (especially sean's) as a book review on this book in particular: Confessions of an Economic Hitman. Lets see who will curl up into a ball of semantics now.
