You see that fine line there?
I take it you're not a religious person, right?

I took the topic out of the racism context and this may have caused some confusion.
What I was referring to in my post is the fact that most wars and conflict in the world arise from people's religious beliefs. I did not mean to infer that religion is the cause of racism at all.
In Western culture we don't perceive the church as wrong or to question the ideals that we are taught.
I'm pretty sure the Roman-Catholic church won't ask their flock to go do something weird, but other religions have different ideals than we do and their view on us is quite different.
When one has so much faith in their religion that they are willing so strap a bomb on their body and go destroy the evil in the west because that is the image that has been painted to them from the all-mighty then something is wrong. But who is going to question this?
Go look back at history and see the conflicts that have arisen due to different views on religion. Holy wars have been fought between the different sects of Catholics and it won't stop anytime soon.
I'm sorry if this may have pushed some buttons for people, but it is my opionion differences in opinion in regards to religion has caused more grief for the world than anything else.
