um. most humans care when someone dies, even if they don't know him/her. i would say the majority do.

otherwise there wouldn't be candlelight vigils, flowers left at roadside graves, cards sent from strangers, newspaper articles, i could go on and on. there are a million examples of strangers caring about the deaths of others; that's one of the things that makes us human.

i haven't been able to find a news story on it but one of the workers there said that it was a random person who entered the building and commited suicide by jumping. he said that none of his workers were injured.

this is a pic of what the guy fell through....you can only imagine what it looked like immediately after.

Yes but some people do have rational cores that are subject to their own set of morals/experiences, therefore allowing them to sympathize with people they have never met.
