I love how they found other methods so any cd drive would be unnecessary, and how their pushing the iPod's sale with the machine, as well as iTunes Movie downloads.
It seems like a really cool machine, which i would probably lose in my piles of textbooks, lol, kidding. ill wait till the gen 2's of this come out. i jumped on the macbook at first release and it was a slight mistake. |

TWICE AS MUCH MEMORY IN THE SAME SPACE ISN'T 2x THE COST A 32 GB DRIVE COSTS $250 A 128 GB DRIVE COSTS $3k+ THEORETICALLY THE PRICE FALLS ON A CURVED LINE BETWEEN THE TWO $1000 FOR 64 GB IS AROUND COST ITS THE SAME EVERYONE ELSE CHARGES FOR EXAMPLE, DELL: Quote:

It's fast and it looks sexy. But with all that power, what are you going to use with it? I hardly think a lot of office applications need such high system requirements.
I'll give it that its awesome for the average user. but i think it's a waste of money. But the macbook pro's will surely go down in price.. FINALLY! |

don't hold your breath, there really isn't any reason they need to lower the MBP prices as they sell really well at these price points and the MBA will not cannibalize their sales.
