i wont really judge a hot pot place if they got written up (ex. hkyk) because what hot pot place is actually practicing food safe. come on..they're serving you raw food that you cook as much as u want. they dont care if the meats been sitting on your table for over an hour..they just want u to eat and get the fuck out.

I imagine there are numerous other hot pot places that managed NOT to get written up, so the whole "that's just hot pot" defense is.. really no defense at all.

no im not arguing it out of a health code, but im just saying the whole hot pot idea is just not food safe at all and im surprised that the many hot pot restaurants have been clear of violations. i wonder how they get away with it.. freezing all their meats? mmm frozen meats. im not arguing, i suck at arguing.
