I take it that the best route now days since there is construction going on cambie is to use granville street?

Anyone have any other suggestions?

I've never taken cambie, always granville.

If I'm on the west side, burrard to 14th, then a quick detour back to granville.

If granville sucks, cut over to oak, cut back right before oak street bridge.

Directions from Sutton Place Hotel to YVR Airport:
-turn RIGHT onto Burrard Street (stay in left hand lane)
-turn LEFT onto Nelson Street (stay in RIGHT lane)
-turn RIGHT onto Howe Street
-travel SOUTH on Howe and merge onto Granville Street Bridge
-continue SOUTH on Granville Street stay in CENTRE lane approaching Broadway (douchebags turning LEFT & Right onto Broadway)
-depending on TRAFFIC and TIME of day, turn RIGHT onto W10th and enter first ALLEY on your LEFT and boot it down to W16th Ave
-between Broadway & W16th Ave continue SOUTH on Granville and dodge left to right between empty lanes (watch out for douchebags trying to parallel park)
-when approaching W16th Avenue stay in RIGHT lane and boot it south to W41st
-when approaching W41st (the SHELL STATION on your right side) change into centre lane, if you wait until after the intersection you are fcuked!
-from W41st to W63rd change into centre lane to avoid parallel parked cars ahead.
-from W63rd to the Arthur Lang Bridge stay in centre lane. and continue to airport.

Ya know, you're probably right.

Here's the problem with the cost thing... I've heard rumours that they're going to implement an extra charge to get off at the the final stop (IE right in the airport). This would be similar to what I experienced in Sydney, where getting off right at the terminal cost $12 or so, but getting off at the stop right before that cost a much more normal $3.50

Maybe I should wash my hands of this RAV line thing completely.

Mid to late 2009. Was scheduled for November but I got a feeling might even open a couple of months earlier.

80-85% of the construction is done, but before they run trains with customers on them, they like to test them with engineers on them (who are presumably more expendable)
