Whether it is or isn't doesnt even matter. Majority of canadians love hockey although there no statistical fact behind my assumption i think its fair to say and i think it might also be fair to say that majority of canadians dont give a rats ass about lacrosse

1st in the west, and 1st team to leave the playoffs. The team goes into the playoffs the hottest has a significant chance of going strong. Example Anaheim last years last half was very good to say the least, hence their goalie also got hot in the last half. P.S: thanx for the avator comment but I got a killer one but it won't let me upload it too bad |

Oh man, in 2006 Christmas will be great. World Junior Hockey Championship will be in Vancouver. Holler!
Anyways, Alexie Zhamnov is being considered but from the options that I've heard Vancouver is giving up to much of the future. Only person that I could see going to Chicago is possibly Jarko Ruutu, cuz his younger brother plays for 'em. Or maybe dump Brandon Reid, Fedor Federov &/or R.J Umberger (sp?). I personally like the first 2 players & R.J. is just a greedy bastard. I don't see Bryan Allen or Jason King getting traded cuz of there play this year. `t1m |

Brent Sopel has been spoken of as trade bait. He has been playing well as of late, but some people see that as a good opportunity to trade him cuz he's raising his value. I know a lot of teams that would love a defenceman that can score.
We may need another defenceman too. hopefully by the time the playoffs are around our D will be all healthy again. Funny how Slegr left, and then Jovo gets injured :p The goaltending is not in any way shape or form in need of any repair at all. Any one of our goalies can bring it. Any slip ups by them are usually negated by our strong, reliable scoring. |

If you haven't heard on the news yet (heard it this morning @ work)
*rumor stage only* To the Blackhawks - Auld, Federov, King To the Canucks - Zhamnov however, the Blackhawks are pushing to try and get Ruutu in the deal somewhere, and the Canucks are saying no. Just thought you'd all like to know...that we're throwing away our future!!!! Auld especially, geez this guy will be our #1 when Clouts and M00se leave (for whatever reason that may be). Federov, I won't be too dissapointed to see him go. He'll develop into talent, but if he can fetch us something good right now I say go for it. As for King...please god no King has to stay. |

I actually didn't get a chance to watch the game , but was listening to it.....when they started going on the scoring streak in the second i thought it was the commercials on CKNW(the ones where they score).....WOW 6 - 1.......really glad PP is doing good....RANGERS WATCH OUT...YOUR NEXT!!!!!!!! HAHAHA GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!! FUK THE LEAFS!!!!!!!
|
|

Ya dude fuck the leafs, only reason i still keep an eye on the leafs is only one reason pat quinn. I mean common the guy made some brilliant moves such as the naslund deal for stojanov, and don't forget getting brian burke to run and gather together the canucks that are well now dominating. Compared to when we got 58 points, its amazing if we somehow manage to get 116 points this year we will have doubled our points from that crappy year.
Nyama must be living in a box or on the streets cause he obviously only know about drinking beer it seems |

Straight up Zhamnov trade is the stupidest thing in the world. Why would you give up King, Auld, and Federov.
#1 Since was the last time the Canucks had their own goalie that was brought up through their own system? Alex Auld seems like the real deal in the future and finally and yes FINALLY we dont have to trade for a goalie later. #2 Federov is a young prospect that has alot of market value and skill. Brian Burke said if it comes down to raw talent hes top 5 on the Canucks team. Federov wont be a Canuck in the future but we can use him for much better things in the future. I wont even talk about King cause Auld and Federov alone isnt worth Zhamnov who is exspensive at around 4 million. just think about it for a second and this deal doenst make any sense what so ever. |

I was just stating a fact, and for your information again, Canadians consume the most beer per household right behind some European countries. And I'm not a he so get it the fuck straight. And if you can call Ballroom dancing a sport then I sure as hell do consider beer drinking to be one.

Here to solve all the problems here you go.
"On May 12, 1994, the following Bill C-212 received Royal Assent and became law: "To recognize Hockey as Canada's National Winter Sport and Lacrosse as Canada's National Summer Sport." This decree is known as Canada's "National Sport Act". " So apparently were both rite but I still digress that hockey is far more popular than lacross is throughout canada. Just look at how much hockey is played through ALL OF CANADA Last edited by KenJi; Feb 02, 04 at 02:20 PM. |
