Am I the only ones who DESPISES all the guys who just stand up at the front leaning over the decks the entire time? If you're up at the front it should be because you're bustin out like mad! Not because you're obsessed with seeing every track that the Dj's putting on, or trying to get all of his/her attention. It's called a dancefloor for a reason damn it! |

Disco_Whore - I agree with you. I've always wondered what the heck those people are doing there by the booth - just standing there and looking at what the DJ is doing. I'm a DJ myself and I'm naturally curious to go see what the DJ is doing, but I just save that part for home and dance instead. It makes us all look like dumbasses who are looking up to DJs as their idols.
It's more respectful to the DJ if you dance instead of glare at him/her like an idiot. |

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH that was GOLD as far as the scene goes, u gotta make the best of it. I didnt go to a party with intentions of doing drugs or even meeting people. I started goin with my friends so i can listen to good live music in a different environment. Gradually i start meetin people and the drugs came into play. Its been a few years and i still attend parties, massive or underground or even club nights. But only to see my fave dj spin some great tracks and so that i can dance all night. Sure people's attitude has changed, but so has the taste of party goers. Its 50 50 thing. Enjoy what you got for time being and like i said make the best of it. It could be worst. If u dont like it, enjoy the music at the comfort of ur own house. LOL |

I havent been raving for all that long so I cant compare past to present but one thing I do think is missing is an age restriction. I was too young when I went to my first party and you tend to see alot of kids at parties that I just dont think should be there. It opens up to many doors too early. Other than that the only thing missing for me is the thing i missed, plaza:(

AGROculture has a party coming up on October 1st!!
Most of you know that is what we do best. We (Rick & I) strive to be inovative. That's why on our line ups you'll always see interesting acts that other promoters are usually iffy to bring out or not We also bring out side shows to keep it interested such as live Rhythm n Hue by David Garibaldi www.garibaldiarts.com So I've been reading what you people wanna see, keep it coming! |

Thank You!! I agree To me plannin a party is not just booking a bunch of dj's and then selling tickets, wondering why I'm not getting the attenance that I wanted. We're sold out almost every show we've done because we book interesting acts that people want to see. I've always believed that putting an extra few hundred bucks in the second room to make it funfun is much better spent than adding an extra light. People enjoy the little things added to parties! I think a lot of promoters have forgotten that, and that's why all parties seem the same |

Seriously. Two girls kissing = I'm not involved. Therefore I ponder the point. |

i just have something to say, not about teh scene, but to the people who are like "people who are plur and kandii are who give the scene bad name." Maybe if you grew up and stopped judging people and stopped caring about what other people thought you might just realize everyone is there to have a good time and have fun, they are not the reason the "scene has a bad name", you are the one saying the scene is bad. grow up, please and thanks.
