Chilliwack is a bit cold..but oh well..i will go if theres a party!!

As a paying customer you shouldn't be forced to 'take what you can get'.

When enough people raise the same concerns, this usually merits a lot of change, especially in the scene. At the end of the day, without ravers buying tickets, a party will not stand the chance to break even or make money.

While constant criticism is not necessarily constructive, paying customers have every single right to bitch about legitmate things. Sorry if he's putting down your friends, but he has the right to complain. Everyone does.

Heritage hall could be good but the sound in there sucks ass. If you could find a way to isolate each stage and make it more intimate you would have it made in the shade.

The reason the RCMP in Chilliwack allow parties to go on at Heritage Park is because it is not 2 blocks away from a hospital or in the middle of a residential area.

You people are forgetting, Spooky 8....that day/night had the worst temperature/windchill factor recorded in Vancouver to DATE for that time of year...
As for the venue...solution:

Tiesto
regardless were this rave is...ALLOT of people will come out just because of him
then people wont want to hear the bitching and complaining about the heritage centre...cause its Tiesto.

But seriously speaking, the Breaks room was the most warmest area of em all...trance stage was warm up front...house stage was warm cause it was at the opposite side of the venue (from the smoke pit doors) and the balcony wasnt too bad either. I like the venue becuase its dark... unlike PNE with the lights on at the top portions. This venue would be bad at all...

Man thats cause on eof the only thing there is to do out here is smoke pot and party after a certain age......I was at a river party last summer and had the cops show up twice within a matter of about half hour and they did jack shit.....all they did was make sure we weren't burning anything we shouldn't be.....they didn't even care that almost everyone had open liquor and half of us were underage

chilliwack heritage hall!

1. it's enourmous
2. there's lots of parking
3. it's a fat-ass barn! which is way cooler than the concrete PNE.
4. it's cold, so no one will overheat if they've popped too much e

but, howabout the TRADEX center in abbotsford...
it's 120,000 sq. feet, with 2,000 car parking
and closer than chilliwack

I think the real question is: Can what's left of the Vancouver rave scene support a Heritage Park party?

I dont think heat will be a problem, if you are planning on throwing a big ass event, body heat will heat up the place pretty fast, and i used to live in chilliwack / hope area so i know about the hall, its a nice place and it has a different look also. its pretty big too. you just have to set it up right, as any other venue.
