No offence my man but that seems like a hypocritical statement. If anything the Kick It Venue was a smaller (2000 capacity) version of The Chiliwack Heritage Hall. It was a big empty warehouse, it was dirty, the floors were freshly painted and ruined the bottoms of everyones pants. The venue was GREAT
That party has gone in the raver history books as one of the best ever. The largest Underground party in recent memory.

I just find it weird how you could say the Heritage Hall isn't capable of having an awsome party because its dirty but you find Kick It Amazing
If anything I think the Heritage Hall can bring back the oldschool rave feel that the PNE can never obtain.
Parties at The PNE seem to me like Electronic Music concerts, nothing like a "Rave" like Kick it was

Oh and Spooky 8 was the shit! I love the fregan huge venue, it was killer to have 3 main stages. The heat problam shouldent even be an issue, they have heating at the heratage center, it just wasnt properly used at spooky. Im sure that problam could be resolved with minimal effort.

If a massive headliner was brought in, like Tiesto, to Chilliwack I think it would give the heratage center an amazing kick off. And damn, would I ever love to see Tiesto... Drool. Agro if you throw a massive at the Heratage center it would be sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I vote for Chilliwack: it reminds me of the parties in Seattle and the security is also more relaxed it doesn't seem like a babysitting vibe that the PNE gives out. The layout can also be modified to fit certain number of people.

Plus the 3rd and Fourth stages at the PNE always suck because of the location and its always lighted area.

i was at the Heritage Centre for Spooky 8 and i had a blast there. for the people that compained about it being cold: boo-fucking-hoo. it's a huge barn. bring a jacket or start dancing or something.

yeah, it's far away. but if you can organize a good bussing system for an extra five bucks or two bucks or whatever i know people would take advantage of that.

it's huge and hasn't been used really so anything there would be new. plus, there's enough for at least three (two of them very big) rooms (if you didn't use sound curtains like spooky 8). one in that large dirt stable (we rave outside people, don't be scared of some dirt), one in the other large room, and one in the upstairs area.

i would totally go to chilliwack heritage centre if the line-up was good and the price was right.

ps. and don't complain about it being dirty you uptight plaza-party snobs; you're fucking ravers. bring a pair of old shoes or something.

I voted Neither. Both venues aren't very good. But, if i had to pick one it would be the PNE. I would like to see something new come into the scene really soon.

They hated Plaza when we had it. And they love it now that it's gone. The same with any venue we've had, whored out and then lost.
