And yes, I know about the origins of house. Chicago house and Detroit Techno is probably the farthest thing from a lot of the crap "house" I hear nowadays.

You're right man. But the problem has never been with the music I listen to, it's always been my appearance. Most don't even say hello or shake my hand, let alone get into a conversation about music with me.

Alot of black people love house. Not like disco or like as we call it in van funky house. which is really just like disco house anyways

but like chicago house and like funk music. Its got soul to it.
