mmm the only valid classification I can think of is someone who produces , plays jungle/dnb, otherwise your just a try hard with identity issues. I could never really understand how someone could classify their identity based on a single music genre, seems kinda fake and narrow imo. of course that applies to all stereotypes and sub-cultures.

i'd say the only "requirement" to being a junglist is a passion for the music (often above other forms of music). Everything else is shallow bullshit.

Some of this identity thing is probably derived from the hiphop lifestyle (rap music being only a part of "living" hiphop) which Jungle and dnb originally formed a lot of it's musical and cultural roots (along with Reggae - which is essentially where a lot of hiphop got it's roots).
