So I went to the Cecil last night...
and got a face full of boobies, two autographed posters, a smashed toe from trying to poll dance on the way home, and a kinda annoying headache this morning...
ahh the joys of after firework fun. good times. |

Haha, I almost ended up at the Cecil last night too, but somehow we ended up at The Cellar instead, and then somehow in the middle of nowhere in Richmond, before finally getting home at like 4am. I still made it to work on time somehow, though.

We all need some raunchy fun from time to time, but after working with so many young women now in political work, and knowing so many people in the business over the years strip clubs will never hold an appeal for me again and leaves more than a little shame in my heart.
Its kind of scary, how we as a society can accept such an exploitative sexist establishment. Its somewhat akin to how we can toss around the word Pimp'n like its funny, or cool or endearing? strangeness indeed. |

haha I've gone to the Cecil before. One of the chicks gave one of the girls that was with my group a poster. But before she did she rubbed it in between her legs. I was totaly cringed when she did that, could you imagine getting a paper cut down there from the edge of a poster. :(

Easy there james. That wasnt a feminist statement, just one made from a life full of experiences of seeing women around myself get fucked over by misogynisitc, sexist men and more often than none by men(and women) who are unaware of the level of gender inequality on this planet.(including myself) I figure if you got a sister, mom, GIRLFRIEND, youd know the score. This shit aint funny. A women or man who calls attention to instances or environments where the most rapant oppression and exploitation of women outside of war, shouldnt be labelled a feminist, or any other ignorant catch phrase your inflated sense of linguistics consistantly pulls out. In the end perhaps the fact that you have been in the club world as a partyer and as a manager for so long, has dulled your sensitivity. I know the ten years I spent in restaurants, and bars, and clubs, and bars, and on and on, sure desensitized me. Before you bust out another witisism, just think about what Im talking about. I aint being high and mighty either, god knows ive done my share of fucking up when it comes to the women in my life. |
