NHL 08 or NHL2k8 (looking to buy ps3 games as well)

which one should i get, what are the advantages/disadvantages. which one has better gfx, gameplay? on and on.

Seeing as metacritic takes pretty much all available reviews and averages them out to one score I tend to take it as the be all and end all rating of many games. In my opinion 08 is the superior title and 2K8 is the follower. In years past I've preferred the 2K series as well so I'm not a fanboy of any particular franchise.

I have Call of Duty 4 for PS3, I haven't even played it because I want to get it for the 360.
