My review of Rock band2
Lots of posts, totally excited for it and the outcome is FANTASTIC!
Band world tour now offers single player touring, Rock band 2 doesnt bring a lot of new things, I would call it an expansion for RB1, you can incorporate all your RB1 tracks to RB2 for 400 MS points, then you can delete the tracks at you will, good bye MAPS!
The drum trainer is pretty solid, you can choose 76 patterns and go from 20bpm to 180.
The songs on the RB2 disc are made a lot more for actually rocking out, straight on patterns nothing too crazy (so far), it gives the drummer the ability to go with the pattern and have a lot of fun with drum fills.
The drums this time around are a bit harder but perfect if you've been practicing drums for a long time. You get into the groove after the first verse and it feels rad.
My only complaint is that in Livin' on a prayer, the fills actually go further than what they're supposed to, it puts you out of time, it feels weird but you dont break your streak.
Highly suggest, 9out of 10.
