The music man! I've been a big fan of Jamaican music forever now, it was a natural progression into producing and DJing.

Haha, i paid $60 for "Track Bums - Computer Dreams (RIP nasty dub)" and worth every penny!

Have you got any funny/horrific DJing stories?

Playing at the drink (back when it was the drink) I was playing a breaks st, and the stupid mixer had the hampster switch on the front (and rotary volume knobs i might ad) - but i accidently brushed by the mixer and flicked the hampster switch, and the music stopped mid track - I had no idea what happened and frantically started checking cords and stuff. BLAH!

What does your DJ name signify?

Well, as for firestar, wanted a name that represented the Jamaican music I play. The idea of soundwave has a few meanings, ofcourse, the real definition of soundwave, and the fact that I play/produce is jazzy, soulful, and I love the water, sun and summer.. heh
