""I'd really strongly reccomend you look into getting a good PR person for you guys, your public face can have a HUGE impact.""

I totally agree with you on this. I think Stan has done a great job with answering everyones questions and actually commin on to the boards. Not only this one but others answerings hundres of questions and being clam and stuff with everyone has to be challenging.

He takes the time to make sure everyone has the info as he gets it and does his best to reply to everyone. But one the side note a professional can be called in anytime and i doubt you would see much of a change in the level of professionalism(sp) that he has done.

We are trying to manage our expenses and costs. Its not as simple as 1-2-3 and money doesn't grow on trees (as you guys would say). Lastly, dooms night's lineup was not a joke PLUS we were ONLY selling tickets at the door at 1230am to 130am. Plus we had LIMITED sales of max 120ish tickets. Usually there's over 500 door sales to sell, but we sold out our tickets like a week in advance. Before the sellout, you could have easily got ur tickets at a cost of $65-$70 week before the show. So uhh..I wouldn't have complained if you had supported Solid from the start which you could have easily got tix at $45 in the beginning. Lastly, we sold out even before Spooky announced their problems with their all night permit.

Support what you believe is worth -- if we see lack of support for this show, we'll just degrade the lineups & quality more to accommodate the people. That is as simple as counting 1-2-3 for us.
Hate to say this but hows about talking to the company that produced the technical for that first event to see what can be achieved? Maybe they'll be willing to throw a pretty nice show together for you!

hey it sure saves a lot of money, and i sure liked sketchy mornings after... but shit, going back home from nanaimo or victoria is a long sketch. only hardcore dnb djs, candy kids, jibtechs and what not do that.

i guess the pne pricing also goes towards conveniency of a party. i think it's overpriced myself but who wouldn't want to make money on new year's eve?
I remember the days when the voyage there was half the fun! All the cool people you meet on the way, maybe people that will be a part of your life for a while. That's how I met at least half my friends when I was avidly partying, and I think that it's this type of thinking(ie: "what? no skytrain to the party?! I'm not going!") that has led to such a divided scene where people barely even talk to anyone outside their clique anymore.

What I'm saying is, prices are high in van because people will pay them. Simple as that, supply and demand. If you want an adventure, come to the island, if you want a massive, go to Solid's party.

If you guys really are serious about this business, which it seems like you are, I'd really strongly reccomend you look into getting a good PR person for you guys, your public face can have a HUGE impact.

Kraig does an excellent job wit the twisted PR, but so does stan. It is unfair to compare the two because as of lately, kraig's been getting it easy. He doesn't have the majority of the boarding rippin him about his company. Stan on the other hand has the majority of the board constantly attacking him/Solid about Solid's every move.

Hahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahhaa hahaahahah... sorry Jeff I just can't stop laughing at that.

Do you think that in my tenure with Twisted over the numerous parties and club nights we have thrown (more than Stan and Jimmy's age added together) over the years, that I haven't gotten flack? Either it be negative posts, emails or verbal conversations, I've gotten and heard it all!

Aside from that though, it kinda has you wondering doesn't it why "the majority of the board" is "constantly attacking him/Solid about Solid's every move" doesn't it? -- Things that make you go hmmmmmmm...

No i do not think you were not attacked over the years you have worked for twisted, i'm just saying as of late, solids been getting the shit end of the stick, atleast on this board. Over the years i've read many posts from hard critics, or unsatisfied customers but none as concentrated as i have seen recently towards solid corp. As for wondering why the majority of the board constantly attack stan/solid? Pro twisted board? LOL....I'm sure you know i am neutral, i give props to where props is deserved. Screw all these haters....LETS GO TO WODA!~

personally i hate these kinds of shows so it doesn't matter to me what the prices are, i don't see the fun in being in a huge place with 2000 high people. i hate high people.

i don't think this board is really "pro" anything.

everyone gets their share of shit, but everyone gets their share of praise too (if they deserve it)
