Yeah I didn't realize what I wrote there. That came out the wrong way. I have to add that there are hundreds of Hip Hop Albums that I have listened to in the past which have blown me away. Every track was a complete masterpiece.

What I meant to say is that recently hip hop albums have been shit. I'm really not sure who is to blame; The artist? You and I? Record Companies? Its obvious that no one is buying cds anymore because well they aren't getting "cds" What they're getting is a crafty way of marketing 3 really good jams on a cd with 12 tracks. Its like some Costco shit.

Yup this thread has been jokes lol. Richmond ain't all that bad lol, we got some cats here that know their shit.

I just got the new CunninLynguists album in the mail the other day, shit is really really dope!!! That is definately standing out for me. As is UGK's album from earlier this year. The Percee P mixtape I bought from him at the Stones Throw show (my case got ganked so I don't remember the name) is definately heat. The new Smif N Wessun is good too, as is Devin's album, shit the Coughee Brothaz album is tight too.
