I couldn't imagine The WU having much marketing power behind their release which would have a substantial impact on how its received. Weezy's album has had a lot of push from mixtapes to radioplays. The Carter 3 has been delayed for a long time which adds to the excitement.

I'm not trying to hate on lil' wayne or his crew by any means, I just think that there are other artists releasing albums that probably are just as much , if not more anticipated ie- new wu tang r, new nas..especially with his first proposed title and the subsequent renaming and brutal album cover that was released...just my opinion though, i guess.

using album sales as a measure of popularity between an album based artist (ch) and a singles based artist (lil wayne) just shows how little you grasp about how hip hop works. but whatever, everyone knew that from your first post.

anyways, my only point was that saying cypress hill even belongs in the same sentence as lil wayne (who is more popular/relevant right now than cypress hill ever was) is insane. nitpick and poke holes in what i say all you want, you won't find a single person who listens to hip hop and agrees with you.
