Personally I don't really like using the term "slut" because most girls that I know that are really promiscuous (and by really I mean they're sleeping with random guys every time they go out.. or their number has surpassed their age at a relatively young age) are actually really insecure and have self esteem issues. Girls that intentionally chase after other girls boyfriends or take pride in being promiscuous just for the sake of being promiscuous I also consider sluts because that just goes against my morals.

personally i think it's got less to do with the amount of sex you have and more to do with the reasons that you have sex with people. if you're a confident person and you hook up with other people because YOU want to then that can't really be called being a slut....i always thought that in high school that term applied more to the type of girl who would give it up so that people would like her or she'd be more popular. in the adult world the equivalent might be called "sleeping your way to the top". personally i'm not too big on labels anyways, there are so many more exciting and devastating ways to really insult people that make name calling seem pretty lightweight, you bunch of submoronic sons of german midgets.

i have to say i HATE the word slut.. its usually someone who's not fully informed of the other person's lifestyle, who decides to do the name calling. and if they do decide to throw their body around irresponsibly.. then really...poor girl..she has really deep problems. (not a slut). i fully agree after highschool ure grown ups and as long as ure responsible and confident with your own actions then do whatever you please, its none of anyone's problem. and i think that the "slut" deep inside knows their own behavior too and if they're really throwing their bodies around... then im POSITIVE they have some kind of guilt/regret in them and dont deserve more painful name calling.
