hook a brotha up with some music please

I am driving t L.A solo on Monday and want some new (to me) music to keep me company. I enjoy mostly indie rock/pop/alternative type stuff, but also would like some good flowing intelligent hip-hop mixes. I snagged Nicolay & Kay- Timeline and really enjoy it, so something along those lines if possible. Nothing gangster-ish for me though thanks.

Thanks in advance everyone,

Mike

ps: most recent digs, if it helps:

blind pilot
beirut
ladyhawke
jose gonzalez
the fratelli's

The newest Mix to hit the Dilla enthusiast circuit, Midnight Snack, is a unique blend of jazz influence and smooth hip-hop from Dilla’s long and storied catalogue. Running just over an hour, this mix is the perfect treat for that “midnight snack” that we all crave. It’s mellow and calm, yet it doesn’t bore the listener at all. The entire mix flows so well, mixing in various vocal sample, my favorite being from the lady who adorns your glorious voicemail. *copy/pasted from link*

I really enjoy this mix.

This is also worth checking out. I first heard Mishka on a straight to dvd movie and i've loved the sound ever since.
