Been raving for 5 years now and before i used to dance and enjoyed big or small parties but small parties had better vibes cause most of the people that went jsut wanted to bust it. Now i havn't danced in over 2 years and i dont go as often. I just go chill, barstar it, whatever and therefore i only go to big parties now. So the effect for me would be big.

not to mention society itself worries itself over petty issues like money and looks *though looks are an important part to feeling good* how can looking like a slutbag be any good to your confidence.

i think itll be good, this mean there will be more venues that are harder to access which means only ppl who really want to rave n get there groove on will go the distance whiiiich meeaaannnsss LESS TEENIE BOPERS MORE RAVERS and less ods which means less of a bad rep also if someone does kick it the press will never know hehehehe.another thing all the young'ns take transit n shit so if it out in chilliwack or mission there scewed. Now also this kinda means im screwed to,But ill be back regaurdless as soon as i find a releyable(sp?) ride or even better fucking finally get my licence :D
so im down with plaza going down.even thou i must admit the fucking escalaters are such a trip but just as plaza coming to an end, drugs will to in time, for me ne ways so trippy shit wont matter. all i need is the beat the bass and teh melody.oh and gang. n red bull :) |

I think that with the closing of the Plaza, we will be forced to find other means of containing our frequent freakish sideshow gatherings. Though the Plaza was the figurehead of the Vancouver scene for a number of years, it's not the end of the scene or the world... and anyone that says it is, or lets it effect them to that extent is partying for the wrong reasons and probably doesn't have any business being in the scene in the first place.
I believe that if we look past the veiled oppression of our way of life, we will see something worth saving. We all have to work together now. Where there is music there is hope. |

And to those people who think that not having plaza w/ stop the preteens, the wiggers, the nammers, the ods, etc. it wont. They'll always be there. Aspecialy the high preteens in their booty shorts. After all Babystyles, haven't you and Char been going to little parties for quite some time? |

wiggers should stop coming to raves. the only reason they do is because the plaza is more accessible. i havnt seen too many at smaller parties.
..because its too much work to look hardcore. which bring up another point. there are wiggers at my school who brag about raving. they assume it does make them hardcore. whats hardcore about brightly coloured clothing, happy music, and plur? |
