Solid effort guys. I was overly impressed when I arrived to notice exactly how organized things were. There wasn't a single person (partier) outside when I got there other than Dave and his crew who were keeping things hella quiet. Upon entering, I was pleased at the calmness of the lobby. It was also well decorated with vendors and happy people. The concession was well placed, there was music as soon as you got through security and overall things were hella controlled. The upstairs rooms were decorated (especially the main room) nicely and the smoking room was absolutely brilliant. I thought this was one of the best efforts I've ever seen at that venue and it's a shame the boys in blue came roaring into the parking lot to end such a peaceful event. I give you guys an A+ for effort and I really think you guys jumped through every hoop possible. The only thing I would have changed had it been done all over again was the fact that the parking lot was a little bright and that the main entrance was not covered with garbage bags and the door was open. Other than that there's really not much more you could have done.
Many props and don't let this bug you in any way, shape or form. You've got a tricky job and making things hit 100% without glitches is mega hard. fORM |

i think the party was goin great...it was a last minute decision for me to go..but i don't regret it..i had lotsa fun last night!...slipping and sliding to music..running around and getting lost in the maze...it was nice to see everyone i saw!!
sucks that it got shutdown when it did..but yeah..stuff happens...u guys have done an AWESOME job at throwing parties..i will always support them! ooh..after the party..was an adventure..getting into the shuttle..getting the car...haha some guys asked me and tiff if we wanted to make babies with them...easypay gas thingy's aren't that easy and are SLOW as hell!..and i'm SO glad i brought a change of pjs..=)..after denny's and driving around for a bit..we landed at a best western..people crashed there and i went home after a while...lotsa laughs..lotsa fun..~ Last edited by ~lazee_grrl~; Nov 10, 02 at 03:42 PM. |

this party was awsome i loved the venue it was awsome. but once i got into the maze i found my self danceing by myself so i went out to find my frinds and the party had been busted with a few people upstairs. the night at the party was awsome. I went to the 31 pender after party and it kinda creeped out me and my friends with all the old guys and shit. man i am just wiped

I had a good time at the party while it lasted. It's inherent when we buy our tickets that it may get busted so we all know the risks.
Glad to see that everyone is giving dave their support cuz he is easily the hardest working small promoter in the city. It'd be a shame if we were to lose him. Tough luck this time kid, but I'll still be there for the next one. |

u know, would people really whine if u made a party that ended at approx. 4am or till it gets busted? just get the headliners on at around 1-4 so 2 headliners i'm sure we'll still be happy. a lotta kids run off by 5-6am these days so it'll still be cool rite? that way, we'll expect it to get busted by about that time so we won't have frowns on our faces when it does! just like Kick it. by the time ur party got shafted, we already got more than what we paid for! props! |

I had a great time at the party. It was too bad it had to be broken up so early. This party had so much potential of being one of the best parties of the year. The venue was great(loved the maze), the vibe was there and all in all everybody seemed to be having a great time.
Dave, you should definetely continue to throw parties. I still believe your reputation is up there in the eyes of a lot of partiers. It was unfortunate what happened last night but there was not much more you could have done to prevent it, and I think a lot of people realize that and will continue to support your parties. |

To all the people who complain about paying too much and it getting busted: BUY YOUR TIX PRESALE! Geez, you have the option of paying 1/2 price.
I had a wicked time. Running around the maze when it was closed was dope-sorry Dave for stressing you. Everybody was having a blast. I'll be at the make up party for sure. I think that if a party goes past 2am it's a success, raves are originally illegal and should be that way-thats the fun in it. rob P.S. Chi Chi is fucking nuts man!
