That IS the main reason I promote I believe, throughout my 2.5 years in the rave scene I have probably met over 1000 people from all walks of life.
I love hearing how much people had fun at my last party, or finding out that a couple is on their 1 year anniversarry and met at one of my parties.
Best of all its taught me to respect and accept people for who they are.

You guys have seemed more and more serious at your parties.

You're right I have....its been along time and I can't party on a shitload of drugs and alcohol forever.
My motto has always been
THE MORE THAT YOU KNOW, THE MORE THAT YOU OWE
As our parties get more serious I take things more serious, however don't get me wrong I take all this rave stuff with with ease.
I mean how seriously do you have to take this when one of the main jobs is to meet new friends and hit the party scene

What's your goal with AGRO now?

Thats exactly it....I've never really had a goal with AGROculture. I've never sat down and thought that I want to be as big as Twisted one day or I only want to serve the underground and only have people at my party who are l33t.

I just enjoy watching to see what happens and wonder what will come next. A year from now I have no idea what I'll be doing with AGRO, thats the fun of it!

If you want to make money, how about using all the people you've met... all your charisma and start a Friday or Saturday Hip Hop/Jungle clubnight?

nah....theres something so blah about a weekly clubnight. I might do a couple one offs since I've had offers for some pretty cool names that are a lil too expensive for my caliber parties.

I asked if I should keep going and the response says that I should

However I just want everyone to know that even if this post was full of hate telling me to leave the country and never promote again.... I'd still be back...thats just me!

As long as I'm breaking even and not losing all personal belonging due to some enourmous debt I'll still be around

If I were to stop throwing parties. Getting shut down from the city or police would be that last thing to make that happen.

HOCKEY IS THE SHIT!! but ya anywho I wasn't at Sexy Sexy2 but I am sure it was an off the hook party as all your previous parties have been. llie put it best!! Out of all the parties I have seen thrown by AGROculture and the Funk Boiz. I have only seen and now heard of 2 of the parties being busted. ONLY 2!! So in my opinion that is quite a good record you got going, and even a party that got busted like kick it was still a killer party up until it ended. People who complain about parties being busted should take what people have said on here already, and think to themselves maybe they shouldn't be in the scene.

and besides when a party gets busted, its always fun to see what kind of adventurous night you'll have. It sounds like alot of people had fun and wacky adventures on this night?

Dave I believe if you want to throw parties, than you should throw parties. If you don't wish to continue throwing parties that chose not to throw them. Just follow your heart and go with what you truly believe in but it looks like your going to continue throwing parties but well see I guess.

also a question on how come you won't throw a party for like 200 or so because the guest list is like 120 people?? you should cut it down to the most important people like only the dj's or sumthing and get the rest to pay and show support
just my 2 cents....cause those small intemit parties are the bomb

props to dave! for standing up for what he believes in and not letting anyone stop him for doing what he loves! The media can be pretty harsh, anyone who does not understand that party scene only knows what the media tells them and most of it is bullshit, they make it seem like all us 'ravers' do is drugs, "......in search of the lastest high" (quote from CTV news) i mean how often do u hear on the news about a great party with amazing music, i have never once heard from the media about how we all go to these parties for the music, and to chill with our friends!
so again props to dave for doing this, i know its hard work!

The only complaint I had was that I was uninformed that there was no alcohol allowed. If I knew this, it would have saved me $20.

yeah obviously I can cut the glist down. Its a little more complicated than that.....to put it simply if I get a 200 person venue and 350 show up that would be a disaster!

However we will be trying our luck with the sexy sexy make up party Dec 7th
We're expecting aprox 200 to 250 people max

dave, i just want you to know ill be supporting your parties till the bitter end. i look forward to every single one as they are the only parties i still get excited about.

heh if it wasn't for your parties i wouldn't be in the rave scene anymore, every other party i go to is just because i want to fill a boring saturday night...except of course the ones my buddies throw hehe.
