I was gunna go to this party. Got a friend to get me cheap tickets. I tried calling the info line and got someone's pager. Then I called the people who were gunna come up with us and they decided not to go because they heard it was only one stage. But, I did hear that the party did happen... So, for those of u that put the party on.. Good Job.

so wtf happened? i heard the main location was shut down by the owner of the land, then i heard the party was at mile 18. yet there was like 20 cars driving around for 3 hours and we couldnt find it. what a waste of my night and sunday. bah.

This was pretty fricken crazy... I was kinda choked actually... here was our (Lawrence, Adam, Bebu and I's) schedule last night:

8:50PM - leave my house in Vancouver after a bit of pre-drinkin and spinnin and head into Squamish for something to eat.

10PM - arrive @ White Spot in Squamish... eat some much need food. Adam I still can't believe you ate that "p-burger!"

11PM - check the info line which finally had info and it said to take the left turn by Alice Lake and really did not go into further detail especially once you hit a fork in the road.

11PM until 3AM - during this time, we drove all the way down the wrong way, turned back around and went back to the main road until we had cell phone reception like 4 times to check the info line again... Found out, as Oliver put it through MASS static on the info line that it was moved from mile marker 18 (which was a fucking Country party) to mile marker 36! So we drive ALL the way to mile marker 36 (passing two other parties by the way) and finally come to a party... It turns out to be this crew of about 200 that are all going down to Burning Man in Nevada... They have this dope party going off with fire jugglers and the whole nine. Dammit... we should have stayed there!

Sooo... after finally driving all the way back from mile marker 36, we hit the main road again at about 2:30AM... by this time, I had met up with Voytek who should have been working the door @ the party so I know that it was just me that totally missed this place! -- Man I was stressen the ENTIRE night about missing/being late for my set.

Anyway, so we finally arrive back at my place at around 4:15AM... I still have my 45 cans of beer, 26'er of Vodka... no party... (sigh)

I decided not to go after I heard the party had been shut down in its first location and moved. I didn't want to drive all the way out there just to find out htat it was shut down. So yeah..... I sat at home and wathced my friends smoke what ever they could get into their pipe...

im just as confused as the rest of you. i thought my retirement would have been on a better note. when i gave the doh name to ross im sure he never meant for this to happen. i wish things were handled differently but we can only wait and see. my appologies for what its worth.

yes before anyone starts pointing fingers, there was a lot going on that night and more people involved than you think.

of course we can say that things could have been handled differently, but im sure at the time none of those options were available or even thought of.

It's really to bad though. I know I was ready to party, and from reading this it seems like a lot of other people were in the same position.

Getting pretty tired of saying maybe next year 4 yrs in a row feelin sorry for Scotty though.... in my eyes D'Oh is a name not to be fucked with scotty losin cash is bunk but he always pulled through with a pumpin party. But one thing's for sure D'Oh isnt something u can just give away. Take it back Scotty

WHAT A NIGHT! whole night consisted of sitting in the suv, sleeping, puking, eating, a mud walk, rap rap and more rap... and more sleeping. i was part of the adventure kraig posted about... and damn it felt like the longest night possible. bumping into 3-4 other parties was quite interesting...we so shoulda stayed at the burning man show i tell ya, strange crowd, but they had a sweet set up and from the sounds at the time..pretty good music. omg i can't believe we went all the way out 38 miles.. thats like on the other side of the globe from my house. dissapointing night, but hey....shit happens. lots more other summer parties coming up. i just feel bad for the promoters (im sure there is a good explanation for all the events.. not like they wanted to leave people stranded in squamish) the djs and all the cars circling the never ending mile road....better luck next time guys.

jay time... there was no further road after the country party! it was a mud ditch out there...not a driving road at all....there was also drunken old men telling all the cars to get off the property!

You know Scotty has put in hard time to make all you ppl happy and I hate to read this bullshit post about how it was "such a bad night for YOU" Awww poor you guys...who's the one trying to pull it off trying to make you guys happy? Ever think about that side of it?

I'd like to see you guys throw as many pumen partys as Scott has for us. He deserves more respect then that from you.

not to be argumentative, but i mean could the person who recorded the info line not have called it himself to check out if it came through ok? but here's somethings i couldnt quite understand

why not have someone waiting in a car, who knew actually where to go, directing people?
