Whoa. I'm the first to get to the board after POTD? Weird... Ok, so here goes.
Holy Fuck. That was some sweet shit in there. I got to the party with JRock at like 10:30 and even Ill-Esha was steamrolling. AK1200, Dieselboy, and Dara turned my brain into liquid. Andy C made me hurt so badly I could barely move my legs. I don't think I've ever heard Jungle that ass-kickingly good before. And when I went to take a break, Akeel was ripping it up upstairs. Absolutely no end to the awesomeness. 'Cept that part when the music got so hard I need to stop moving for half an hour. FLAIL! Long weekend... must sleep now... been partying since Saturday. zzzzzz...... |

yeah... AMAZING!
except that they were pushing the sound so much it was distorted and they blew the amps to the satilite speakers, and ak1200 needs to stop pushing 10k so much, it hurts my ears! :( everyone just ripped it up, ill-easha, holly crap, i never heard her sing before... that was JUST RIGHT! much respect for all the tallent! seen alot of faces that i wouldnt think i would see,especially at a jungle shoe so it was just that much better! |

wow, lastnight blew my fucking mind.. ill-esha worked it. i knew from then on it was gunna be an insane night. next time i'm so busting out a move... anyways, this night was a fucking blast.

I really don't understand how people can get pissed off when they get bumped on the dancefloor at a DNB PARTY!!! I got more than a few evil glares/shots to the ribs/"stay outta my space". Wierdos.
I don't think I stopped moving for more than the few minutes it took to get more water. Absolutely amazing. I left at the end a sweaty, sore, giddy mess, and I swear I can still hear the hi-hat playing off in the distance. Thank god for making my own hours! |

seriously, i'm glad i got to see Andy a couple of times on a decent, non-pussyclat sound before last night. That wall of midrange did not give an accurate representation of his abilities. and POTD... sheesh. some great tunes, but was i the only one noticing the amateur-level mixing?? they had more train wrecks than CN Rail..... the only positive thing to come out of that set for me was a new-found respect for AK1200, as he seemed to be the only one with his shit together on the decks. and, as usual, i was unimpressed with the variety of musical styles the DJs were putting forth (ed- except for Ill-esha). POTD bored me to tears, Andy C did little to remedy the situation. But it seems that all the dnb crowds want these days is hour after hour of in-your-face aggression, so what's a DJ to do. all in all, on a scale of one to MEH, i give this show a resounding MEH. miss ill na-na was superb! Andy C didn't rock me the way i had hoped All in all a great great night so many faces from years ago...it's like i was 20 all over again I made the 'drum and bass' face and i danced til my pants stuck to me...does it get any better then that? |

I had a wicked night ! it was a great day to turn 19, fuck yah! it was crazilly sick beats I didnt stop dancing , my feet are hurting, and I was super sweaty,, but it was all worth it ! I had a awesome time! great dancing with everyone and bumpin into everyone, everyone was going crazy towards the end ! SICK yeah yeah

Well I had a lot of fun last night. I just wish my tummy was more in the mood for moving around. I didn't get to dance as much as I wanted to so I just watched from above on the balcony. I think the sound was a lot better up there. I was really excited to see Andy C spin but still bounced a little early. Way to tired last night.
Anyway good to see everyone again, if only for a second before losing you to the sweaty dance floor for the rest of the night. :p |

Thanks to the hundreds of people that came from as far as 5 hour drive to catch this stacked line-up. Diesel, Ak, Andy, Dara, James, Gq had wicked times. It's always amazing to see how open and friendly they all are to chat with anyone.
Loved the 4 deck set-up and also the scratching by AK. Not sure how Messinian belted his voice out like that, should have seen him before the show.. he could barely talk!
