Like Ive said so many times before I will never support these people them seem like assholes.
The three rerasons I would not support you: 1. You have ripped people off + 2. You have lied to them + 3. You never know what-the-fuck you are talking about or doing when it comes to planning a party. So lame. Gook luck with the next one you throw. I wonder how many people will show up to your parties after seeing the way you talk to people on this board? I sure as hell will never. |

Even though I don't like the way things turned out as in the legal party turning into an illegal party I am starting to agree with Dabbler
Hemal, Karp and Crazy Dave are all acting like lil shits! hahaha quit it!! I respect the fact the party still happened when he found out he didn't have enough cash. The reason I posted my statement before is because I am almost positive that he went ahead to throw this party fully expecting to generate enough cash through presales. It didn't happen and the party moved and had a large chance of being shut down further making people sketchy of buying presales off of any party Mistakes were made. It's not that huge of a deal The party still went on with a good production. I don't think Mat should throw a party without having a secure amount of cash and he should also take a while to learn the game, learn how to promote and learn what headliners people want to see. But Mat if throwing parties is your passion and not just a business oportunity then you should continue to do so, just take your time! if you can get Dabblers respect than you obviously are doing something right cause it took me years to get his respect! Seriously! learn from your mistakes. Don't be arrogant and don't make excuses. Your party did not get shut down out of sheer luck, you can't convince me any different. plans changed, and he did exactly what every other promoter would've done in HIS situation. (by that i mean, having other promoters and or sound production/lighting companies trying to hurt his show) @ Agro = whatever man, you've always done right by me, you're one of the best, cause you still remember your roots! ;) @ everyone else here who've NEVER THROWN A PARTY ON THIS SCALE BEFORE.... SHUT THE FUCK UP! it's really hard to do a show of any size, EVERYTHING that can go wrong..... WILL. whatever could possibly screw up the night.... most likely happens just as you think you're home free. at least half the parties you throw, LOSE $$$$ and there is no way that any of you are entitled to an opinion about how matt should throw his events, unless you've done one before. IT'S REALLY FUCKING HARD!!! that being said, for those on the other side of the fence, having thrown your own shows, you SHOULD KNOW BY NOW, that matt should be cut some slack.
