Pendulum @ Sonar
Definitely a sweet night. A blast was had, and I don't remember being that drunk in a reaaaally long time.
Strangely though, throughout the night I was switching back and forth between absolutely fucking loving the music/vibe and being rather indifferent to it. I'm not sure if it was because parts of Pendulum's set were kinda ho-hum, or if i was just way too blasted. Either way, the show was overall a lot of fun (if not quite what I was expecting) and I'd pay to see them again. Oh, and it was nice seeing lots of familiar faces for the first time in several months. PS: My lovely friend Navi nabbed me the Pendulum Vinyl that flew into the audience and under my feet. It's fine. It's signed. I'm happy. Last edited by Niko; Sep 24, 05 at 05:52 AM. |

This is Ramnero under Skippers account..
We're both too drunk to post a real thank you, but the show was amazing and it was thanks to everyone that came out and danced their asses off. Gareth and Rob said it was the best night throughout their whole tour...and yes, another show is definately a possibility we're working on making a reality. Big thanks to the entire Sonar crew for getting everyone in quickly and making sure the night was awesome... I'm too drunk to think of anything else to say, but skippo will post something more coherent in the morning. Thanks again, and we hope to see you all at the next show. oki seriously.... you really don't know what you are talking about at all, so you really shouldn't post about it.
do i need to define a rewind for you? for someone who was interested in spinning DnB, you need to have an open mind about the sound. you just heard the best bass sounds you'll hear in a long time, with a wicked vibe and a packed show, and you're still hating? maybe you should just stick to your trance :P |
