All I asked was "Does no one think its the slightest bit of a health hazard to the person getting pierced." and i also asked if your suppose to be not on drugs. Thats it p.s EDIT FOR TIFF did you really have to add that "do you have any piercing" I'm not trying to say it was illegal, all i was doing was asking some questions and concerns. |

^ Good cause I really don't feel l ike arguing over something so small on fnk.
its not the person doing the piercing that i would be worried about its the chick. who is to say she wouldn't lie and such, but like tiff said i have no piercings so i shouldn't say anything so i won't. goodnight |

Not impressed with the security, they were assholes and I waited in line longer then I did at apex.. so they could check peoples socks and wallets ?
Other then that I had a great time, saw all the sets I wanted to see, reid speed ripped it up, sorry to hear about her prediciment, she was so cute. Nice to see eveyone as always, you are the ones that make my night complete. Happy birthday to baily allison and vanessa, hope you girls had an awesome night. and where are the pics ?? seriously, its the 7th page already ! |

ive had my nipple done twice, the only question they ask is your driver's license to check the age. the girl who had hers done could have been as high as fck and i dont think it would have been illegal. it would seriously concern me though, i hope that was a concern for the person doing the piercings too, just for ethical reasons

All in all a good party the house stage, Swiftbeats and catching the impromptu set with Sean and Jer at the Revolution stage in the morning was nice. Our group had no problems with security at all, I was checked thoroughly but not over done. Swift Beats in the mornings god you always make me smile. As good as the lineup was I feel for me atleast anyways that the none main stages deffinatly kicked it up a notch. Props to Josh Kristine and crew for a night well done..

It was a great time, for sure...had a blast in general. A BIG thank you to all those who played for us @ the Rype/Future Roots stage.
Phat Cat Slim Pickins Djing 101 Soo Precise Kraig Major Josh C Squared Manos One Lady AK MC Flowpro Everyone did a great job...wish I would of checked out more sets and brought more beer. Although some key headliners weren't there and the beer gardens got jacked, the party went off regardless and big respect to SilverWaters for throwing and event of this magnitude...everyone has their right to complain about things not being perfect, but a show this huge can never be perfect. Respect to all the promoters who put on their stages and all the Dj's that played. Watch out for EVOL INTENT september 21 @ Gecko Club |

decided to check it out after the clubs closed. SHowed up at 6~ with 4 friends and we decided against paying. Snuck in through the woods. Now i'm really glad we did after hearing about the poor business Silverwaters employed for this event. Listened to some music in a near comatose state for an hour and a half give or take... ass hole friends drank ALL of the booze on the drive out. fuckers didn't leave me any, and I had taken my last caffeine pills at caprice. blah. Left earlier than expected because I was dying of lack of sleep(had slept all of 3hrs in the 48 prior to showing up) so we took off. No caffeine=bad for safety, I fell asleep going 150 on the highway. Woke up with someones horn and hitting the bumps on the side of the road. No good. I must have good karma after all.

Hey everyone, sorry for not having pics up yet. I always try to get them up the day after the event (and most times before I even sleep), but I was sketchy as fuck yesterday. I'll try get them up before work, but if not, they'll be up later tonight.

Some thoughts:
-Props to the DJ that threw down No More Conversations vs. Feel Good (basically, No More Conversations with the entire Feel Good lyrics in it) at the farthest stage there. That's my favorite song. -Capital J was sick. -No beer gardens was disappointing, but not the end of the world. I went for the music, not the booze. -Security was a lot tighter than normal. With the amount of money I had in my wallet (from selling tickets), I was suprised there weren't any accusations. -That nipple piercing was totally random. -I somehow managed to miss that painter guy. I got some pics, but I dunno how I never seen him. |

So terribly organised. If you say your doors are at Noon and music starts at four, it's frankly insulting to not have your doors open until 4 and the music barely going by 6. I didn't get there until when they just started letting people in, so it wasn't so bad for me, but some of the people in line had been there since the morning and had, in fact, been kicked off the site and told to get in line. Such crap.
Because the music didn't start until late, alot of really cool people (e.g. Phat Conductor) played way too early, before anyone was really in the place. Not cool sh*tting on such sick talent. That said, Phat's set was dope, and he did get to play again on the Swiftbeats stage at dawn, so I suppose it all works out in the end. ((EDIT = whoa, weird)) Reid's set was killer. However, watching her get treated so badly is disgraceful and I really really hope she still comes back to Vancouver. I think Queensyze left with her and that's why she didn't play. But watching stupid drunk guestlist people jumping around on her stage so that her tables are skipping, THEN watching some moron tell her to get off the stage for mixing it up and playing DnB in with the speedgarage is rough. She's awesome talent, and you don't do that. Respect the DJs, they are your bread and butter. Mad props to the Autobots, Hirshee, Dig Dug, and Mat the Alien's sets. Super-sad that I missed Capital J, Angst and Ill Esha's. Did Influenza and Dabbler end up playing? I couldn't find them. Anyways, lots of fun, too bad it had more to do with the talent and the crowd than the promoters. |

summer breaks was sick everyone should stop hatin on production unless ur willing to step up and contribute to the scene cuz really silverwaters has been carrying the scene for a while now, ok a few headliners didnt show but look at apex, they didnt have any headliners so be happy for what u got, not what u didnt!!!
EXCEPT MAYBE TOILETS I MEAN COME ON It was dope getting to be Autocrat and Paperchase's DJ for the nite on the Main Stage and was honored that they asked me to be their permanent DJ cuz they're Vancity's sickest upcomin MC's in my opinion look for big tings comin outta the WHO KNEW camp 06/07 But id hav to say the hilight for me was scratching with capital J in the morning shitfaced on 151 over top of the triple tagteam breaks sesh, and J asked me to lift up the table and move it i thought he was gonna stop scratchin but he didnt i was moving it back and forth, holdin the deck overtop of the mixer tilting it every which way tryin to throw him off....no way jose he didnt even skip once not even while i was holdin the table in the air and he was scratchin with his chin, i even gave him a head butt of love while he was doin so, and he still didnt skip!!!!! SUMMED UP QF SAYS CAP J DA SHIT HELLA COOL DUDE SB WAS FUN AS A MO-FUCKA THANX JOSH PS BOOK ME HAHA Last edited by QUITEFRANKLY; Aug 21, 06 at 02:09 PM. |
