Personally I think having piercings done at a rave/party is more opportunistic than intelligent, or conducive to good business. Do you happen to know which outfit was doing the piercings? |

I would suggest studying exactly why professional piercers suggest NOT to drink excessively or be on any recreational drugs during ones piercing experience or right afterwards. It has less to do with the idea of excessive bleeding, and more to do with said substances effect on the body emotionally, mentally and physically. Although people have different reasons why they get pierced, or what their respective experiences where like, there is a common level of physiological impact as a result. The idea of being relatively "clean" during the process has more to do with; being aware and conscious of the process, not taking unnecessary risks in term of degrading your bodies ability to heal efficiently and not becoming a liability to the piercer-their business, yourself and any other parties involved. Doing some piercings for your friends, yourself, along with the intention of wanting to become a piercer is awesome, and obviously is encouraging in terms of following a positive direction for yourself. What is DOESNT mean is that you have significant knowledge of what the business or process entails in terms of being a professional or having a professional opinion. That being said, neither do I, so take my comments with a grain of salt. You seem predisposed to want to pursue your interest in piercing, and if it is what you choose, then the best of luck! Quality female piercers/tattoo artists/entrepreneurs rock. Looking for cool ladies who pierce or tattoo? My picks include Electrolux, and Liquid Amber. ez |

I played on the main stage two if thats what you're reffering too. 8:30am though. Some tracks played were: In white rooms - Booka Shade Exceeder - mason Flip de scrip - Alex Grani I can figure out more later if it was in fact my set you were thinking of. I had an amazing time at the party. The sound was amazing as was the lighting etc. I was dissapointed that Jody Wisternoff wasn't there but Kevin Shiu and John Morgan ripped it up. I wasn't really impressed with any djs there but I wasn't really dissapointed either. Actually Matty played a great set, Cap J was pretty hype, and Reid Speed was fun. I was disspointed by the lack of professionalism the dj who played before me showed. It was very disrespectful to argue with me considering the fact that you werent orginally booked to play nor were you sceduled to play at the time you wanted to play. Aside from that playing at 8am wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it might be. The people who were there looked like they were having a blast. Props to the black dude who was dancing his hardest the entire time. It was good to talk to some old friends or atleast attempt to. My mind was a bit altered so I apolgize for that. Did anyone see the Vietnamese lady with blond hair white jeans? She's managed to haunt me in my dreams. Everytime I looked at her she met my eyes and managed to rip my soul out with her mind control. All my friends noticed this too. Maybe it was just us? Props to Josh and Kristine for a succesful party. Alot of people on here seem to sweat the small stuff but I'm not sure its something I would let get to me. Keep it real. Ps thnx to allison! |

Hey all
I want to thank everybody that either played on our stage or danced in front of it! Sheps and Cedar, Alje and Maggie, Scotty, Mike and Sean, Kickass Girl MC whose name I forget cuz I had 20 beer by the time you came on and everybody that played after I did because after I hit the vitamins pretty hard, I don't remember anything, thank you all for making our stage a huge success, we couldn't have done it without you all rocking the show! I would also like to add that I saw a ton of people the obviously had nothing to do with the performers on stage standing around with their arms folded behind the dj. How on God's earth can you stand up there when the sound thats being produced in front of the stage is that amazing?

Thanx to everyone who played on the MX stage...
Miss Marz, Sheps, Deezel, Remeddie, Ben, Darren, Heidrogen, Briden, Nathan, Detn8r and Nabs. I was able to catch of bit of everyone's set. Awesome job. And and a thank you for all those who helped set-up and tear down. I had a great time. It was a blast playing with Corinna and showing Thomas Penton around Van. He thought the city and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. He's a super-nice guy. peace, myshell |

yeah, i know, first post, call me a troll if you want but i'm curious as to which headlienrs showed up and which were cut, can't seem to figure it out.
i wanted to go to this soooo bad but then figured i couldn't afford it, now i think i'm kind of glad i didn't. so there was no way out west, no lange, no uk apache? was there anyone else they cut? glad i went to apex instead, way cheaper for a party with no reallybig headliners, although autobots and malente did play. so which other headliners were ther and which didn't make it/ anyone who was there want to make a list? just curious. |

The whole night was awesome. Even under some unfortuante incidences it was still a great party... This topped apex. All the stages were decked out w/ awesome sound and stage pressence. Rype stage had it going on for sure, Thx to Matty Cue for letting me crash in the back of the truck, I needed a nap... I layed down some decent sets (both at Rype and Blak Crak stages), I especialy enjoyed how much deelyte and Leebrat were enjoying the beats, that was a treat. Alla good set, ppl were feeling the AK. Manos, Pete Flex, Slim, Kraig, good sets from you guys aswell. Pacific and Mystery killed it @ the main stage (too bad about that black out, still people got back into the vibe right after the power came on. Matt the Alien, huge performance, that was tight. Blak Crack stage was cool too, good job luke and thx for letting me hit the keg. Hanging out at the mainstage in the mornig was awesome... Lots of good people hanging out in the morning. Thx to Josh, Kristine, Matty Cue, the whole Rype Future Roots crew, Luke and Blak Crak for showing everyone a good time. Respect. |

one more thing, just to mention, as i was leaving in the morning, i stopped at the gate for a minute to wait for friends. a freind put my record box WELL off the side of the road coming in. a truck (a brand new 2006), RAN OVER MY RECORD CRATE, they had opted to drive off the road and didn't look what was on the ground. the crate shattered, some records are busted, most are badly warped, i am destroyed. I asked for an explanation from the woman driving, and she says "we always have problems at events like this, i won't be doing one again" after i explained to her, i was sorry for the inconvenience of her having to talk to me for a few moments, but i had just lost my oldest rarest records due to her carelessness, she offered me $20 in return. i gave her a shattered record, still in sleeve and shrinkwrap, thanked her for her time, and left with an armload of loose melting warped wax. they were taking down one of the security lights at the front gate, and were an older man and woman. the big wheel of karma keeps on turning. |
